Moscow to Katowice/Poland by train.Traveling in a Kupe sleeping wagon between Moscow-Minsk-Warsaw-Katowice. We kicked off through the Belarussian train station in Moscow through Smolensk and Brest border were are rails were changed and replaced by the euro-standard version.

I have a schengen visa that permit me to travel around Europe .Not sure about your documents but you can ask your local authorities what exactly is needed for free traveling.

Unfortunately due to the war in Ukraine NO trains are crossing the borders at the moment.
Due to war it didn't go. Do you have any idea when it will start. Or by other means we can cross the border.

Please I want to ask, as a student studying in Russia, do you need a visa to travel to Poland and other European countries?
Of course you need a Schengen visa to travel to those countries at least no matter your status. Watch my Moscow-Berlin Vlog and you will see student in the train traveling

Do we need Belarus transit visa? Also do they have immigration officers at border because if we are going to poland first time how could we cross passport controll?
This route isn’t allowed for non Russian citizens. Also these border trains aren’t working since the Covid outbreak and now the war in Ukraine. Don’t take the risk and get advice from your various embassies!

Carriage that you show as a domestic russian train is from foreign country - Belarus.
Russian domestic trains by local train company RZD are nearly on the same level regardless of destination to Europe or to Urals, Syberia, Russian South etc. Of course, there are some exception, but they are really few now.

Racism is a relative word.I think in Eastern Europe in general you need to earn respect and that applies to locals.
