The information is available in Bhrigu Sutram and I have gained a lot by studying the book which is a translation done by Dr G S Kapoor. I thank him for the efforts he has taken. This is a new series where I am going to cover MARS from house number 1 to 12. There are many interesting facts about MARS in the 3rd house. I have provided the Sanskrit words so you can derive new meanings from the ancient text.

I had 7 children between the years of 1990 and 2007. My youngest child a girl has Mars in the third house alone without any other planets and Rahu is aspecting Mars from 11th house. Furthermore the lord of the third house has gone to 6th house joining the Sun there. She has Aries rising. In 2019 she became the centre of a custody battle and in the process became cut of from her siblings. Now only 2 keep in contact with her.

Because bhava chalit is a false and rather made up concept, none of our great jyotishi rishis used bhava chart.
Sir, Thanks for the video. But Do Karako Bhava Nashaya applies in Mars being in 3rd house? In JHora if Jupiter squaring Mars (Aqua) with 51 Aspect will it be positive? How many points should Mars get in Shadbala. Is it 90 or above 100 is good? Change of Mars in D9 wont hv any effect? Pls guide.
Hi Dhilip, I have an exalted Mars in the 5th in Capricorn but it is combust. Sun in the 6th combusting Mars in the 5th, Mercury, Saturn and Venus in the 6th. Also, Mars is Debilitated in the 3rd house in Cancer in D9 and aspected by Rahu. Can you please tell me how to interpret this, please? Thank you!!!

My Situation - for Tula Lagna, Jupiter (natural benific) is functional malefic while Saturn (natural malefic) is functional benific. In my chart, (DOB 26/09/1984 TOB 8:40 am Khar, Mumbai) lagna (ascendant) is Tula, with Venus & Saturn (exalted @ 20 degress) looking with its 3rd house aspect on Sagittarius where Mars (@ 0 Degrees, Moola Nakshatra, 1 Pada) is sitting with Jupiter (@ 10 degrees, Moola Nakshatra 4 Pada). [Both the positions of Mars & Jupiter are same (i.e. in Sagittarius) wrt Bhava/Chalita chart]
My Question - So in this case do we see functional or natural benifics/malefics for predicting results?
Also, one last thing, I had asked you last time for Saturn Transit video to which you replied that Saturn in this Transit (2017 to Sagittarius) is complex due to its retrograde motions.
I understood your view point but I dont trust all these other astrologers as they lack content & give own predictions not original textual content like you. To tell you frankly no book lets us know why the planets are exalted in certain signs (rasi). In some cases it is known for example Sun is exalted in Aries because when Sun enters Aries ephemeral plants start growing and leaves appear after a long winter. When Sun is NEECHA the leaves fall down leaving the tree without leaves. Sometimes it may be philosophical reason. For example MARS is brute force and energy and CANCER is emotional and belongs to the MIND (MOON). So Mars has no scope when emotions rule. So Mars becomes weakest. It is like a solider dropping his guns because of emotions. He has to kill the enemies. Suddenly he feels killing human beings is not correct. Something like that. This is how I look at it. Your question is a 1 liner but my answer can be a book.

Yes you are right. What you said is KANTAKA SHANI. KANTAKA is KENDRA or SQUARE.
