Can this be folded with the canopy open and zipped? I am looking for a stroller to take my cats to the vet which will allow me to keep them in it while in the car and seat belted.
Oh good question! Well technically you could leave the canopy zipped, however- the bottom of the "basket" of the stroller (where the cats would sit) flattens out as you collapse the stroller. Have you figured out how the front wheels rotation locks work? I can not get them to lock and if I do, I hope I can get them unlocked. I have a 60lb special needs dog and this stroller is perfect for her. Ramp slides too much on the bar though. So trying to figure out that better. Love your videos by the way 🐶👍
Thank you! I haven’t tried locking the front tires yet- next time I take the stroller out I will investigate that! The ramp is a good idea but it definitely needs some upgrading! It doesn’t move too much for my little ones but the texture of the ramp is a little slippery under their paws! Need something with better grip.
I figured it out! You have to line up the groves, pull up on the rotation lever really hard with your hands. To release it, step down on it with your foot are really hard with you hand.
hmmm....I'll have to take a look at mine again. I know there is 2 red "levers" on each wheel...if one is snapped in then the wheel will not turn. Maybe I'll make a short video on this!
Honestly I'm not sure! They push in, and are located right where the front portion of the stroller folds down to allow larger dogs to step into the stroller easier. Now I've folded that section down a while back and I don't remember having to do anything with those buttons. It's funny you mention that because earlier today I had the stroller out and I was looking at those buttons wondering the same thing! And I see no mention of them on Pet Rover's website either!
Hey! So I finally looked at mine today, there are 2 red levers (one in the front of the wheel and directly on the other side. The swivel lever is a round shape. You have to release it, if you look closely you'll see how it attaches and how it will prevent the wheels from swiveling.
Gracie always looks so hot! Is there enough air movement and do the dogs stay cool enough to be comfortable ? (been very hot here ) so I was concerned as I was considering getting one for the park
It's been hot here too! I'm really starting to look forward to some autumn weather lately! 🥵 So the stroller has 2 mesh areas in the front and back of the canopy and also a small mesh zippered door at the front of the stroller (where they jump in and out of). I would think that would be enough air movement, plus I have been keeping the canopy shut on walks. You could open the canopy all the way or even just partially up for even more air. I agree Gracie does look hot a lot! I'm wondering if 3 dogs in the stroller during these hot days kind of blocks the air movement, you know? She could be panting more to if she is stressed being in the stroller- she might not be totally used to it yet! I don't know for sure, I'm leaning more towards this hot weather! Next time I take them out I should tether them in and leave the canopy open and see if that helps any!
