You just cannot serve God and any competing master or Lord. Jesus uses money as the application in Matthew 6 to show that our hearts cannot handle 2 different competing masters. We will love one and hate the other. there are ways that we can pursue the Lordship of Christ. We need to develop a path our heart to follow, we need to have our thought captivated by Christ, and then live for Christ in the present.
