He said he quickly fell in love with the Philippines. Little did he know that the country is falling in love with him as well. He sounds like a true Filipino. He's so honest and genuine and appreciative of what we have here; even the ones that we see as bad. It's so amazing how this guy can talk a lot of things about Philippines with such beauty. He got me at the part where he compared how Japanese people are just working all their lives and then "just" die eventually while Filipinos have their own way of finding happiness anywhere even during tough times. I'm not a fan of PBB. I don't even watch any of its episodes but when I saw a video clip here in youtube uploaded by PBB, as Fumiya said, I quickly fell in love with him. I had this thought that "This guy is gonna be my Big Winner."
I admire you, Fumiya for loving Philippines despite its flaws and shortcomings. Some Filipinos are turning their backs on our country but you are one great example of a person who can love surpassing whatever the differences and difficulties you might have yet to encounter.
I salute you, Fumiya! Please continue loving Philippines as it will love you back a hundred times more. ❤️💚💛🧡💜

If only there is an award or medal or honorary citizenship status or free multi-entry visa for life given to non-Filipinos who love and promote the Philippines , its culture, its tourist spots, its people etc., more than its own citizens.
You are more Filipino than most of us. Your heart is sincere, pure and genuine. And I'm crying right now.
Thank you for loving us, we don't deserve you, we are not even worthy of your praises, but thank you for believing and trusting us.
Take care of yourself and may your business and dreams come true.

Thank you for your input about the filipinos and its culture.Just started watching your vlogs . I SAW you on pbb and behind that comedic and happy guy is a is a very sensitive and appreciative guy with a lot of passion and with so much wisdom beyond your years . . You know Fumiya, coming from your culture, you had not seen what was out there, what was out beyond the confines of Japan , yet you took a risk and took a chance to go the Phillipines not being able to understand nor speak the English language let alone the filipino language.. I admire your bravery .I hope that you will learn a lot from the people and culture . That you will understand humanity because in your young life you will have so many opportunities to see the world. Being open and embracing different culture will make you more open to more possibilities in life. Yes the Filipinos are happy people. You truly open your heart to the world. I wish you all the luck that with your wisdom you will go far . As your new and probably your oldest fan i'm proud of you. Go and explore and enjoy the journey.

Your patriotism is overwhelming and inspiring. Not all people will go that far for their dreams and I'm happy that you're one brave soul. Countries have their nopes and dopes but it's just that most Filipino families approach life more positively and they tend to give importance on all occasions too like birthdays and Christmas--which we celebrate starting September lol. Japan is a great country and don't worry, I will never call you an "oppa" cause that will be quite cringey coming from a stranger. Magandang araw sayo! :)

Fumiya Sankai is not just average young guy. at young age he visions to have a business. but who wonder when he came to Philippines he starts to fall in love, embrace and appreciate the Filipinos and Philippines. You can see his good intentions. Im sorry about when he always mistaken as korean tbh I love korean and their culture. but on the other side I really love Japanese stuff but not personalities or artist, when fumiya came to PH and his videos when viral. I started to follow him he's not a typical japanese he's special, he's loud, he's positive,he's knows to handle everything and he tries to adjust when he stay in PH even now in PBB. he respect everyone and he's matured. im so happy u achieve what u want. looking forward for you after PBB and looking forward to your Clothing line.❤ after watching this I feel like im lucky to be Filipino, because its like Money can't make u happy, even you are rich and not happy whats the sense to live. I just feel his sincerity and loyalty about loving PH
    I admire this person 🙌

Thank you for your kind words about Filipinos and the Philippines. I saw some of your videos before and I was intrigued to see a young Japanese covering Filipino culture. This video prompted me to reply and subscribed to your channel. Korean culture maybe popular now to the young people because of K-Pop and K-Dramas but before K-Pop, in the late 80s and during the 90s, Japanese culture was very popular in the Philippines. I remember there was fascination in my generation about Japanese culture. That's partly because of the popularity of Japanese anime here which many of us grew up with. It is also because Japan invested heavily in the Philippines and provided much needed economic aid to the Philippines. The friendship between our countries have become strong through the years. Some Filipino friends of mine even studied Nihongo, studied Japanese ways, many worked in Japanese run companies here (I worked in a Fujitsu subsidiary here), many Filipinos worked in Japan and some of my classmates in college even became students in Japan sponsored by the Japanese government. Ask the 40 and 50 something generation and they will have fond memories of Japan and Japanese culture. I believe many of us have learned a lot from Japanese culture and have incorporated in our own ways many of the positive traits of your people. I rarely watch videos in youtube but I have chanced upon your channel. It means you are making an impact. Good luck and I hope you achieve your dreams. :-)

After I've watched it, it made me know you more and started to really admire you. Your Video answered all the questions I've been wondering why you've chosen the Philippines of all the Countries most especially you came from in a 1st World Country. In a young age, You really know what you truly want/dream. Your story is truly inspiring. I really admire your guts to took a risk and made a decision that you don't know what would be the outcome. It's like jumping on an abyss. I've also started to ponder again about one of my favorite qoute: " If there's no opportunity, make ONE". You are one of the epitome of this Quote. I do really want to have that courage and passion. I praised your positivity, perseverance, coolness and humour. There's no doubt that these are the traits why you easily caught the attention of the Filipinos and eventually Love/Admire you. I hope someday, when I will buy a shirt, there's your clothing Brand Name on It "Sangkai". Goodluck!!! 💪 Hoping to see you soon in PBB House.😘

This made me cry. Tears were falling down while watching it. 😢 You know, we may not have the "Good History" 😢 between Philippines and Japan but THANK YOU for changing it. Thank you for the GOOD RELATIONSHIP that we have now. Philippines really adore and admire Japan for its beauty and success. And we're happy to hear this kind of thoughts and love for the Philippines. Don't say that Filipinos don't know Japanese words because A LOT of Filipinos loved Japanese Anime (in fact I'm a NARUTO's fan since I was a kid 😍). I should say, Filipinos loved first Japanese than other Asian countries because of Anime.
Maybe I think Filipinos misconceived you as a Korean because Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, Korean have the same looks, like you guys have that small eyes, fairer skin, height, hair style, and almost the same way of writing. hehehe. 😊
    Anyways, Philippines loves Japan. ❤❤❤

Hi Fumiya, just want to let you know that I'm proud of what you have become. I've been following your journey here in CZcams for a while now and if there's one word to describe your videos it's Happy. I pray that may God continue to use your influence in sharing happiness all over the world.
Ps. Indeed, most filipinos are currently hooked with korean dramas and all, but hey we started loving japan. Especially anime. It's part of our childhood memories.

Just wonderful! This video is from 2 years (plus three days) ago. During the past few days, it happened to me to find your channel, and in about three days, after watching many videos, I started to understand the driving force that propels you. From this point in time in the video, your life will start to bloom in amazing ways. I myself discovered the Philippines (mostly Mactan, Cebu) 2~3 years ago, and realized that I have the same feelings as yours. Keep on pursuing all your dreams.

It's 3:12am and I watched the whole video. Thank you Fumi. You are so passionate of what you act and what you want.
I was actually thinking what I'll become the next year. For some reason, this video made me sad. I think this video should have more viewers. You made me realize that even I want to be happy always, I should think of my future too.
If your curious how I felt after watching this video, I was actually lying in my bed just staring to nothing for maybe a minute or two cause I regret how I spent my previous years because I know I could have done things better. I'm close to tears now but I didn't cry. Same as you did, I'll become a better person next year... Hopefully.
(I'm not actually a really big fan but I've been watching your Vlogs even before you joined PBB cause I like Japanese culture.)

You always wanted to be a leader...you can organize your fellow Japanese people living in the Philippines...then you can ask permission to do Japanese celebrations in one place in Manila.example a mall...display your Japanese products.
We owe many things from you.our president and your prime minister are good friend...go in with your dream.you can make it happen in the Philippines but you need your fellow Japanese people to do it. Just organize them ...a program or a Japanese celebrations to start with...perhaps in luneta park.just spread the invitation among your followers...you can show case there Japanese culture.
