Nowhere in this video are there instructions to actually assemble or really use this device. And NOT an easy setup at all I can get my top lid to fit on
I've used a KitchenAid (Made in France) processor for years. We bought this for a second home. For thirty bucks at Walmart, it works great. No complaints. Small size takes up less space on the counter.
I bought a $70 dlls Cuisinart food processor and I ended up returning it. I decided to buy this Black & Decker for only $26 dlls and let me tell you, I’m VERY impressed. It works so much better than the Cuisinart, it’s cheaper and it’s lighter. I recommend this foo processor!
Purchased mine 2 days ago and I just love. It is perfect for what I will be using it for.

I am about to lose my mind trying to get mine (locked) so it will freaking work! I spent 30 minutes this morning....... I feel like smashing the whole thing! I want one video showing me how to assemble and lock it!!!!!!

I had the same problem, until I figure I had to take the blending piece out before locking it. when slicing take the blending piece out, it locks perfectly.
Sameeeee this is how i feel now trying to assemble the two black pieces in the middle!!!
Hey Ya'll I was having the same problem when I bought mine and thought that it didn't work, was going to package it up and take it back, but decided to look one more time, When you set the lid down on the bowl make sure it is to the right of the handle, then turn it clockwise and it will snap into the side of the handle and this will allow the motor to engage. hope this helps you. I can not get my blade over the center part to install. This looks like it just slides down center and then works. I can not get my center part to slide down,

I am looking for the solution of how to disassembling the base motor part of this food processor because while I was chopping fish to make fish ball, the fish meat fall into the hole that connects to motor. I am not able to clean it. And right now this food processor smells badly of the fish smell. I want to open the motor base to wipe off the fish meat that fell into the hole.

Okay, there are a few things that are not mentioned in the user manual that would have been helpful for me. Here goes.
1. Orient the food processor on the counter so that the buttons are facing you.
2. Place the mixing bowl in the base with the handle pointing to the right.
(That big slot in the back of the base is NOT for the handle of the mixing bowl, even thought it is the exact right size. The slot is apparently part of the drainage system in case the user ended up with too much liquid in the mixing bowl.)
3. Put whatever you want into mixing bowl, then put the lid on. The lid has to rotate clockwise about 1 inch to lock into the handle.
4. Process your food.
5. Rotate the lid counterclockwise 1 inch to unlock it from the handle, then lift off.
6. The vibrations of the food processor might cause the mixing bowl to settle down tight into the base. You might have to tug pretty hard straight up to remove the mixing bowl from the base.

Can I ask how #1 is not an obvious way to use the machine? It’s only facing outwards in the video for the viewer to see what button is pressed resulting in the function shown in the video.

Yes, I am happy with it. The problem I had at first was that I didn’t realize that the spindle was supposed to be pulled out of the blade for when you need to use the shredder disc. It didn’t come out easily, so I didn’t realize that it could be pulled off.

@@mjwolfs1 Hold the area just above the blades with your left hand, and then with your right hand twist that thing with the ridges on it (located just below the blades)to the right. Then the spindle will pull right out!!

Check the Item T part its in two parts one part goes under the cylindrical part , its the part that links the whole thing to the motor( it took me one who hour to even figure out that Item T is two parts!!!!!!,I still have no idea whether the white stopper on top of T should be thrown out or remains as part of the assembled product?
Not a good video at all. I would have like to known how you set it to do the chop, shred, or puree
I cannot figureit out either. The disc spins along with the blade. Therefore, when shredding carrots, the shredded carrots drop into the work bowl and get chopped in addition to shredding. Turned carrots into mush!
@@susancarver1977 Open the lid. Remove the shredder disc/stem/chopper blade assembly. Take off the shredder disc from the stem. Remove the stem from the chopper blade by twisting slightly. Then reassemble with EITHER the chopping blade, or the shredder disc on the stem.
Read the directions.
It works but sprays out the top.No other way to assemble the stupid thing
