I just got into this game and this is exactly why. The thought of all the crazy plays someone could make with portals is so cool, especially imagining high level play like this when people start optimizing the game more and more
I wonder if taking less damage the faster you move would be cool. Like if you move at full sprint on the ground you still take full damage but if you start going any faster than off the ground you take % less damage scaling up to 50% DR when your flying like superman. Even at diamond people start portal humping walls and the momentum mechanic is kinda a novelty. The DR while moving fast threw the air would be a funz rumble game-mode if nothing else.
