Is the glue necessary since you are using screws to mount it?
What type of screws did you use for the bottom J frame?
I just installed two 36" x 60" mirrors from Lowe's a week ago. I also bought two 48" with 1/4" J frames which came with 1" nails and screws. I used my own longer 1-1/4" nails to the studs. The included screws and plastic anchors looked to me the heads will get in the way and the mirror will not fit. My installation went smoothly.
