This right here is one of the most perfect spooky stories i have heard in ages. So lean, yet packed with goose bump serving imagery. The narration (vo) is stellar and brimming with character without the often difficult to mask natural ego of the actor. Supremely done. Downloading and sharing this one.

Glad you have a great liking for the British, Drew - we like you as well! I was upbraided on here the other week for describing myself as British instead of English, but it's always been in my nature to be inclusive rather than insular. Anyways, my maternal grandfather was Scottish and my dad had Welsh relies, so I guess I'm not purebred English, as if it mattered🙄🙄

this last decade plus has been particularly rough on small town America everywhere, I think.
I was born and raised there (and little old Pitchin), and it surprised the heck out of me to hear it mentioned at all.
Well done Drew and Adrian and the CTFDN team. This story was short and sweet, with just the right amount of Friday night in it, including an icy beer. I'd write more, but my monitor is blinking as if it has something to say to me. If I didn't know any better, I'd say it's turning into static.
