@@chass1347 for total joints (they’re doing it for a knee arthroscopy in this case but we drape the same for all of them) they are trying to avoid infection as much as possible. We do unsterile U drapes over the tourniquet before we prep, then we usually do 2 3/4 sheets one on the bottom under the leg, one on top, 2 U drapes, a full body drape, stockinette all the way to the drape, wrap it in Coban, full body drape (has a hole to insert the foot through, wrap the opening + the leg by the opening in ioban then they cut a hole in the stockinette, mark, then ioban on top of that.
@@Nooorrriii crazy. What I always thought is nuts is that they don't have you put like clean stockinette underwear on you instead of leaving your nasty naked parts hanging out there. Then cover with a thousand sheets. I think some of that is wrong. I can't think the nurses love that.
