@MrRamsback28, I remember hearing this Beatles song a lot in the back of my parents' chestnut brown 1975 or 1976 Chevrolet Caprice station wagon. Oh, how I loved that smooth ride as it felt like you were riding on an airy cloud.😌 ☁️ I miss that car.
I was 11 years old when Revolver was released. This is my favorite song on the LP! He is STILL THE MAN and sounds as good as ever!!! Glad I got to see you live. Thanks for keeping it going all these years♥
+Robert Dominguez The UN Single Convention on Narcotics came about because fiat currencies require productivity for backing. A stoned populace is not productive. As a signatory, the USA was required to comply with the reorganization of its law enforcement in the creation of the DEA.
Robert Dominguez Hemp competed with cotton and wood pulp and so those industries conspired to pressure Congress to pass the Marijuana Tax Act in 1937. However, the fiat currency issue still stands because history teaches that no one lives after messing with banksters. JFK ordered the US Treasury to issue notes into circulation (red seal notes). Jack Ruby silenced LHO and he knew he had cancer that would kill him some years later. Truth comes out only when it is safe from making a difference.
You think that such a narrative had never crossed the minds of those who run the banking cartels? Man is not the way he is because of the things he does. He does the things he does because that is the way he is. It is called personal depravity. It is the only religious doctrine that is empirically provable and precisely why it is so intellectually resisted.
First...you gotta love seeing Abe in a suit. Second, we just saw McCartney in 6/15 and he is now using a teleprompter. He even has one painted to match his psychedelic piano. We were in the 21st row and I couldn't tell for certain if he was using recorded vocals or not. I really doubt that he was because he missed several of the high notes...not that anyone gave a damn. When you consider he had just turned 73, it was his 4th concert in 8 nights, he performed 40 songs, around 3 hours, no breaks and not even a sip of water. It was simply an amazing performance. The house was packed and everyone sang, clapped and danced for 3 hours. This was one I can scratch off my bucket list.
Paul sounds good on this. His vocals have been pretty rough at times the last few years. Goodness, tough songs to hit the big notes! What a pure musician, just an incredible effing career.
Paul and Barack sparked up a doobie before the show and that's why Paul keeps looking at him and smiling, because he's stoned singing about being stoned to a stoned president
He is actually hitting the high notes better NOW (4 years later) but man, can he modulate and climb to the note. It is a mistery to me how he remembers ALL the damn lyrics. NO teleprompter Mr. President
+mickavellian They don't leave events like these to chance. There's always a dude doing supporting vocals and/or playing his instrument on backstage. I'm not saying he can or can't do it. Just saying he doesn't really have to make the effort, and for a lot of older artists, that's the case.

Imagine how the Beatles changed the world that turned their songs from the protest to the heart of the establishment. Legendary. They were repudiated by an entire country (after the words of Lennon), but they were greater than all other events and managed to be above an entire epoch. That was only possible because of the message and the musical quality they treasured.
Just hearing Paul sing that really brought me back , his voice today is just as good as it was yesterday ! Paul McCartney Rocks , Long live Paul , Ringo and the Beatles !
His daughter didn't really look like she appreciated this enough. I guess after getting everything you want for years you don't care about the special things like a musical master playing for you.
This is a kick ass song, period. And to hear it ONLY as a song about pot--is nuts; it is way, way, way better than that. The double meaning of the words--do mean it is double, not just about one thing, clearly about a woman too, and his feelings for her. And boy do the Beatles know how to start and end a song, none of the "fade out" like so many pop groups, solid endings.
This Beatles song is totally my favorite one in the key of G major. Yes indeed. Most of my friends and relatives are indeed getting into my life as always. Lol
I didn't mind the synth horns; I used to do them myself for Chicago tunes and the keyboard man is pretty good. I mean, how many trumpet players do you want to drag around?
I love how he got his voice back in this performance, you can clearly see how happy he is
Was he with some voice problem before this?
@@leonardocurti9219 nope, but because of his age he can’t do his powerful screaming regularly, here you can hear he nails it plenty of times

I hope so
You mean... singing or smoking?
When I'm 64.
Singing an ode to marijuana in the White House is quite a statement.

He's clearly straining hard to hit those high notes....but he's hitting them nonetheless, so that's good enuff for me. :-)
This is a song about Cannabis, in the White House. Lol, Legalize or bust!
Iwasthewalrus Obama shaking his head at 0:18 because he knows makes it even better lol
That's exactly right, and Paul disclosed that. Remember that bust in Japan ?

no, stupid its cause hes amazed that hes seeing paul play a classic beatles song and hes amazed
Really ? Ahahahahahaha didn't know that

This song was a hit in 1976. Six years after the Beatles broke up. Ten years after it was on Revolver
Was actually on Revolver... Really cool how it made the Billboard top 10 in 1976, and was a hit again in 1978 by Earth, Wind, and Fire.

Thanks to Earth Wind and Fire covering it. It's a great cover.
