my top 4 of Junior Songfestival 2023 with "brief" comments:
1. Sep and Jasmijn "Holding on to You". one of the best EDM songs ever produced by Dutch people. it even reminds me of the Glennis-Afrojack interval act from the grown-up Eurovision 2021; they can take the inspiration from that for the staging.
2. Joy! "Better Together". the most energetic and cheerful song of the line-up, it really represents Junior Eurovision, from the sound to the vibe. if my top doesn't win, this should be the alternative option.
3. Duron "Magic". Bruno Mars meets Benjamin Ingrosso in terms of vibes, but that makes it a bit "been there, done that". the "eh eh eh" part kinda lets me down because it is slightly too repetitive.
4. FLARE "Side by Side". the most lackluster song (at least in my opinion) as it doesn't take me anywhither. despite that, it still brings good vibes.

I can’t chose between magic and holding on to you their both really good, I guess it all comes downs to the live performance
How nice to see you back, Jude. I thought you had disappeared from planet Earth, but you're back with your expert comments. And I agree with you. Sep and Jasmijn to the wonning. Only, for me it's Duron second, cause I like the special vibe. The two girlgroups, I'm afraid I have already seen that. Joy! is another version near to 'kisses and dancing' and Flare, is one of the many 'we belong to each other and always remain friends' -entries. But as I never trust dutch taste, it could also be Joy! winning if Sep and Jasmijn are not spectacular on stage.
People might call me crazy for saying this, but I feel like Sep & Jasmijn could actually win JESC with a good live performance!

But at the same time if La Festa which everyone seemed to love sm only got 7th I don’t think Holding Onto You could win sadly
The production team put 'la festa' as the no.1 in the running order. And then the same happens to them as to the Austrians in the adult contest this year. People forget them, or haven't even switched their tv on at the beginning of the programme.
It's time for a Netherlands win! Luna last year, Sep&Jasmijn now!
Sep and Jasmin for me have greatest Chance to win the National Selection!
I think it’s pretty clear holding onto you is the best entry but none of these have managed to grab me like La Festa did.
