    Great, thoughtful, concise guide! Stumbled across your video because I need to do some product photos for my website (books 😔I don't know how to photograph them looking nice) and this was a really helpful, principles-based guide that cleared up a few things for me. I hope you do more content like this!

    Hi there! Where did you get your background paper and setup?

    • @bryanwanphotography
      @bryanwanphotography  Před 2 lety +1

      Got the paper from my local camera store. Called Savage Seamless paper, and the stand is from amazon!

    • @sophieallison1329
      @sophieallison1329 Před rokem

      @@bryanwanphotography do you know what brand your backdrop stand is from Amazon? Lots of reviews say these stands can’t hold the weight of paper rolls so want to make sure I get the right one 😄

    • @bryanwanphotography
      @bryanwanphotography  Před rokem

      @@sophieallison1329 Hi there, i believe these are the Emart brand ones from amazon, it can hold the weight but they are a bit flimsy. but i dont expect to move around alot or shake the stand so for my use case it just permanently sits there and doesnt move.
      If you plan on moving them often i would suggest maybe a sturdier stand, or remove the paper rolls before moving the stand elsewhere!

    Pattern means settings ?

    • @bryanwanphotography
      @bryanwanphotography  Před 2 lety +1

      Patterns meaning different variety of colors or shapes or anything. Ex. Instead of using a white backdrop maybe use a marble backdrop, something with some change in colors or shapes. I hope this answers your question!

    and what about light?

    • @bryanwanphotography
      @bryanwanphotography  Před 2 lety +1

      If you dont have a studio light you can always position the product near a window and use natural light! I made a video on the different types of lighting conditions on my channel you should check out!

    Background (if you can call it that) music too loud, irritating, distracting and totally unnecessary. Tutorial on the other hand was very informative and educational. I would have cloned out the wire instead of cutting a hole in my backdrop. 15mm lens on full frame or crop sensor?

    • @intheworldbutnotofit8002
      @intheworldbutnotofit8002 Před 2 lety +1

      Concerning the background, I disagree. Especially coming from someone like myself who is easily irritated by loud sounds. Everyone is, however, unique. I definitely detect your arrogance, and it's blatantly evident you're just looking to go out of your way to be critical over something just because you can’t help yourself as you’re easily detected a narcissist.

    • @bryanwanphotography
      @bryanwanphotography  Před 2 lety

      Duly noted thanks for the feedback. You can definitely clone out the wire as well, everyone has their own workflow, i try to get it as "perfect" as i can out of camera to make my life a little easier. This was shot on a full frame 50mm lens, anything wider would distort the image IMO.
