Weirdly enough, one of the only places where you can see Superman’s relationship with Nightwing outside comics is Gotham Knights. In there, you can get e mails from other characters, and Nightwing gets some from Superman himself just asking how he’s doing and offering help with hero work in Bludhaven while he’s over at Gotham

Wish WB stopped fumbling the execution of a DC cinematic universe instead of regularly rebooting Batman until that series deteriorates into nonsense and the cycle repeats over and over.

@@teleportedbreadfor3daysOne thing that sets Nightwing apart is that he is a great leader. People naturally follow him because they trust and respect him. As an example, in one of the issue of "Teen Titans" Superboy notes that whenever Nightwing shows up everyone automatically looks to him for orders.
In an early issue of "Teen Titans" Woman Woman (accompanied by the Justice League) showed up to take Wonder Girl (Cassandra Sandsmark) away because Wonder Woman didn't want her involved with the Titans. It led to a fight between the Titans and the JLA. The fight ended when Nightwing showed up. He put the JLA in their place, letting them know that The Titans were together to make their own way for the same reason he formed the original Titans: To give the young heroes a place to be themselves out of the watchful eyes of their mentors.

I'm loving the way they are passing the reins to Dick. It's so deserving. And you can see actual respect going to the character. It doesn't exactly make sense for the JL to disband, but I'm enjoying how they are approaching it.
It's really refreshing to see someone read the comic instead of using ai voiceover.
It is funny how much like uncle Batman and Superman is to the other "Family"
I'm glad that Superman's personality from the comic is starting to get into the mainstream. A few good but misguided films and a Kill Bill monologue changed Superman into a different character more than a race swap ever could.

I'd like to see a role reversal where a member of the bat family is all happy and positive and teams up with a dark and brooding super family member.
They did that when Dick became Batman and Damien became Robin. Suddenly, Batman is positive and happy, and Robin was dark and brooding.

I love how Bruce Wayne’s butler has a fortune to pass on to Dick. Sure, Bruce would probably mock him for being such a broke-ass.
Oddly, Dick is actually a billionaire in his own right as well thanks for his parents life insurance, the circus passing along an inheritance, and Bruce (later Lucius) managing and investing on Dick's behalf to turn his original millions into more, is the main inheritor for Bruce, AND got the money from Alfred. Dick might probably be the richest person in DC.
@@Artimidorus - He could solve more problems by throwing money at them than he ever could by kicking. Homelessness and poverty for the entire world? Done. And he can still bathe in Champaign every night.
More to the point… getting and growing such a fortune would cause more harm in The world than the entire extended Bat Family ever solved. Can’t go to the dentist for a regular cleaning or a filling when the problem is manageble, so people wait until the entire tooth is abscessed, then get the tooth pulled. People getting gangrene in their feet, because preventative maintenance is too expensive to fix.
Superman will be a father figure because he had a father. People might say Bruce had Alfred, but this is the family servant that took up the role. Bruce didn’t have an example of what a father supposed to be.

Even if Supermans X-ray vision had nothing to do with why Nightwing chose to speak to SM over BM cuz its just nice to see how they're all so comfortable with each other like that. NW clearly trusts SM enough to open up to him and SM Respects nightwing enough not to judge him (at least not to his face) or laugh about how he may be a bit old to be just now be having you know..."The talk 🐦🐦⬛ 🐝🐝🐝".. SM had NWs insecurities in the palm of his hand and could've crushed him but instead just telling him that some of us got it, some of us dont, some of us are "growers" instead of "showers." Knowing SM like he does he probably knows Kryptonians lack a phrase for the "no show grow" which i believe was enough for NW pick to pick up on SM implying NW falls in with the latter. "Its not small ya just gotta focus...Dick🥷🏼 🦸🏻♂️" or maybe not which brings me back to the whole X-ray vision thing and superman immediately leaving afterwards.
