The continent of Africa in general doesn't have antique, vintage, or fleamarkets like the ones they have in Europe. Or America for that matter.
We have great fleamarkets where I Iive.
That is where I shop. I can't remember when I went to buy clothes at a super store.
I went to a second hand ladies clothes fair today held once a year. It is only on for 2 days.
Last year I found stunning leather Italian shoes in my size for 1 Euro a pair. 😍That was a lucky once off situation. 💃💃
I carried bags of shoes out.😂 I found the clothes abit expensive for 2nd hand on ny budget.
Anyway, I went to this event again today, one year later.
I found all the prices were much higher than last year.
But still, I found a pair of Prada shoes for 3 Euros. And another 2 pairs of shoes for 5 euros each. One from Itaky and one from Denmark. Who can complain about that. I found a nice dress for 5.
I collect vintage jewellery and am always on the hunt.
We are doing a good deed for the planet by buying gently worn pre-owned clothes, and we save. It's a win win situation. 😂 Thanks for sharing. It was fun to go shopping with you all. You should show your hauls after you shop. Would love to see your finds.

Hi Jullean, you can get them from vintage shops. August is tricky as most businesses go in holiday but you might be lucky and find some open. Just Google: vintage shops in Milan and you’ll find a good number

Hello, prices differ depending on the products. Most designer bags ranged from €350 - €3000, clothes depended on the brand. It all depends. Most of the sellers allow payment by card. So you can bring it too in case you run short of money 😊
