Aj styles should be John opponent. Randy will likely fight Cody at wm41 for the wwe title. Punk will feud against Seth at wm41 in a personal/blood feud.

May I ask, why not The Rock? I understand that Punk and Orton are the best picks for Cena’s last opponent. But for me, thrice in a lifetime makes sense because they are and will continue to be some of the biggest stars in WWE history. But I do agree with Punk and Orton.

To me it's Orton for his last WrestleMania match one last and because that was one of my favorite feuds John had in his career and feel it would be the best for John to finish this one with Randy
I’m 22 . Been watching wwe since I was 5 back in 07 . And never got a chance to see cena wrestle live. Since I work now. I’m definitely gonna make sure I see him wrestle live atleast one time before he retires.
See the thing a lot didn't catch is that WrestleMania isn't his last match it's the last mania. So should Cena still wrestle Orton at mania cuz that won't be the finale of his career

So I think his last WrestleMania match will be against somebody big from his past like Orton or Punk which will be great for attracting irregular watchers, whilst his definitive last match would be putting over a new star maybe which could be people like Gunther, Bron Breakker or Melo
Words can’t explain how sad I got when John Cena announced that he was gonna retire in 2025. He’s been my childhood hero since I was 8 years old and it’s definitely gonna be emotional all throughout next year for me and many Cena fans. But his WrestleMania 41 opponent has to be his GREATEST RIVAL and my favorite feud of ever Randy Orton
I was never really a Cena fan but I always respected his work especially with charities.

He and Cena both started as rookies during the same years, arguably the most iconic rivalry in both their careers and even though they've had tons of matches, almost all of them have been absolute bangers.
If there's anyone who deserves to face Cena in his final match or at least for Cena's final match at Wrestlemania, Orton I feel would be the perfect choice to be his final opponent.
That would literally put Gunther even more over that he already is. He would become a top guy and the build would be fantastic. The thing with Randy is that the math would not be as good as their past matches plus there's no good new story you can tell so for mania, I think it should be a newer guy like Gunther and get something we never seen before

I think it would be a good if they did this -
- Cena starts working back up competing with young bucks
- Eventually at a PLE he becomes the Intercontinental Champion, now becoming a Grand Slam Champion
- At WrestleMania 41 faces off with Randy Orton
- Some time down the road he faces the WWE Champion at a PLE like Summer Slam, finally becoming a 17 time champion
Also for his last match, here are some thoughts -
- He can face The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, officially passing the torch to him
- He can also step toe-to-toe with The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes, passing the torch to the new hero
- Face off in a spectacular brawl out tag-team contest side-by-side the man who looks up to him, R-Truth
- Have one last match with none other than arguably his greatest adversary, Randy Orton

I’d like to see Cena vs Cody. Even though Cena endorsed him last year, but a match of an official passing the torch situation.
Whoever his opponents are, I just hope Cena's last run isn't just him losing over and over. Give him another championship to break the record and have him get some good wins

I think a safe route to go would be Cody. Since he’s a babyface and he’ll definitely be the continued face of the company for the next upcoming years. Perfect way to pass the torch

If Lesnar isn’t in any further trouble, Brock vs Randy, vs Cena must happen. It would work because the story would be around honor arguably the best class of talent there will ever be. Also Randy should win that match. It would work if all three men go into the Hall of Fame together before wm41. If it’s a singles match between Cena and Orton then Cena should win.
It Should be Orton because of their past and they never had a single match at WrestleMaina also you could bring back the Legend killer gimmick.

Gunther is not a bad choice. My only problem would be Cena vacating the title the next night on Raw if he's there. One possible way to make that work would be if Cena did a final open night challenge to an up and comer.

Aight so that the question that I've been seeing all over my social media ever since Cena Broke the news this past Saturday So i kept saying Randy Orton should be the one who gets to face John at his last match in December of next year but for WrestleMania I think Gunther so John can Break the record 💯
here's my prediction schedule for Cena tour next year:
beginning half of the year
let him in the WWE championship
picture and win the title at Mania so
he can break the record.
lose it around Late May-Early June
take a break for movie
Come Back Mid July
go after the Intercontental Championship
and lose the title around Mid October
Take Another Break for another movie
Come Back Mid November
Retire December
Imagine if do something similar to Bret Hart introducing Sami main roster, but instead they have Booker T introduce Trick Williams to the main roster
I know a lot of people think punk, or Orton should be the one to face him at mania, but I think it should be a new up-and-coming guy. To say that they are the ones who beat Cena in his final match, would help their career more than a punk, or Orton win. Maybe someone like Carmelo Hayes, Bron breaker or even dirty Dom

I said it when he announced it at MITB, it had to be Randy or Punk if it's a vet. It can be a rookie or an up and comer, but if ANYONE deserves to have the send off they want, it's Cena.
Randy is the guy WWE wanted as John's main rival, but Punk was just THAT GUY for John. John was The Rock and Punk was Steve Austin. Punk used to smoke Cena on the mic, to the point that Cena realized he had to up his game and they made each other better. Randy is WWEs choice for Cenas rival, but Punk is just the other side of Cenas coin.

I agree that Randy Orton should have the honor to be John Cena's final wrestlemaina opponent, and I definitely think that during this retirement tour John Cena is going to relive a lot of his old rivalries, but I also think that we should also consider a lot of new talent to face John Cena during this time as well. I understand that John Cena becoming a 17 time world champion would be huge, but for me I would honestly love it instead they have John Cena capture the intercontinental championship and then do the open challenges. It's the one title John has never won, the intercontinental title has really re-earn the workhorse title name, it would be the perfect title and opportunity for younger talent such as Chad Gable and Dominik Mysterio to go after and be given the chance to share the ring with John Cena. Plus, by having John Cena go after the IC title, it would mean one of two things depending on how the Sami Zayn and Bron Brekker feud goes. Either A. we get John Cena vs Sam Zayn again this time for the Intercontinental championship or B. John Cena vs Bron Brekker, something that was teased back when Bron was still part of NXT. John Cena becoming a grand slam champion, in my opinion, could tell just as much of a good story as the idea of cena breaking Ric Flair's record. Not to say that I wouldn't want that to happen, I just think my idea is pretty cool.

I love the whole Gunther and John Cena feud idea. The only thing I disagree on is having John win the world rumble. I feel like you could use the royal rumble winner for somebody else to go at the undisputed championship or something like that if anything, and I just don’t see John Cena beating Gunther and it makes sense I don’t see that. If we really want John Cena‘s last run on a high note, we should book him to actually win the intercontinental championship the championship that John Cena has never won.
