man, I am Russian, and although we poltically don't agree on many things. I still get teary to see us brothers fighting and killing each other's sons. I still remember the first day of SMO. I was in School and I couldn't believe it.. I was deeply shocked. I thought the situation would resolve. I thought that even if Russian army went in, it would be a bloodless operation like in Crimea. I really didn't expect us to mericilessly indulge in such a horrifying war. It is deeply saddening. Worst part is, most Russians still believe that hopefully, Ukrainian people and Russian people both will be able to forgive each other. However, almost every single Ukrainian person I have spoken to really doesn't even look at Russian people as humans, and truly hates all of us Russians from the bottom of their hearts. I as a Russian can understand and I don't hate your patriots(Except actual Banderites and Nazis)... However, Ukrainian people aren't able to understand the fact that we also love our country a lot and that's why we serve in our military. I truly believe that after this war... Usually in Ukraine there aren't many people who hate Russians, especially in my city. And i can bet that the most of these patriots don't know anything about the war. Most of the adequate Ukrainians do not hate Russians themselves, but z-patriots and your government. Most of us actually don't hate you, we still watch Russian films, TV series, we still play Russian games. Shortly before the war, my family and I planned to go to Moscow to see our relatives. Also, just a side note, during war time, missiles and artillery are used regularly from both sides ,specially to target deep military targets. I just wanted to say that those missiles in itself are so expensive that launching a missile worth millions only to strike a random apartment building deep within Ukraine isnt viable, nor strategic. It's mostly due to air defences present that shoot those missiles down, which unfortunately kill civilians. Another thing I have become educated on is that mostly armies use cluster munion, not even artillery, to commit terrorists attacks( Belgorod) so I don't see how it's just Russia doing bad things. You live in a war torne country which is very traumatizing, understandably so. AFU, used artillery to strike civilian concentrated areas within the city, without actual military presence( nowadays strikes are justified from the AFU since it's an active war zone) but due to the artillery bombing due to AFU. 9000 civilians died as a result , not to mention 5000 more who died in fighting and countless who went missing ( for opposing AFU). Regardless, I respect your perspective. But I hope you could respect mine too.. Also, just some advice. The Z- patriots aren't some Neo nazi fascists hungry for Ukrainian blood, like I mentioned , it's mostly Azov and Banderites, that mostly operated in Donbass during the 2014-2022 time period. And also i blocked them because they didn't respect my and my parents choice to move to the USA next year and they tried to offend me and my parents bc of that. @@nikitarut8498 there wasn't civil war, everybody knows that since 2014 eastern Ukraine including donbas separatists were backed by russian state . When Chechnya wanted independence , what you did? How many chechen people you killed ??? Compare how looked Grozny during 90s and Donetsk during so called "civil war" in Ukraine, which you sponsored and supplied your proxies. Russia doesn't care about donbas region people , cuz only due russian "liberation efforts" this region now in ruins and devastated. So, try better.
