- I Try to ride the Onewheel for 30 days. I got the Onewheele 30 days ago and I didn’t know where to start, how to learn to ride a Onewheel? In this video I document my journey with Onewheele. The up and down of me learning. This is my review of the Onewheel pint X however I do need to test the product a bit longer to have a full review of the product.

#onewheel - Zábava
Great video! Most vids I've seen were from "pros". It was cool to get a relatable video from a regular dude with no experience such as myself. A few buddies of mine ride onewheels and convinced me to join the crew. This video gives me confidence that I'll be shredding with them sooner before later!
thank you for the lovelly comment. Honestly its soo worth it. i am glad i was manage to show you the good and bad of the onewheel on here. hope you get your board soon
I highly agree! Was good to see his documentary from beginning rider to experienced rider and his excitement along the way..
WEARING A HELMET DOES NOT LOOK STUPID. nobody judges you nearly as much as you think, and it is a good idea, and a normal thing to wear a helmet.
Everyone already tells me I look stupid.
exactly right. and not just the helmet, use wristguards, elbow pads, knee pads, etc. staying safe isnt stupid.
Brother I finally broke down about a month ago as well. Purchased the pint x and by far the best investment ever. I can't ride it to work cause I work way to far from home but the GT will definitely be in my future. To all new Onewheel investors, yes its a huge learning curve but that's what makes it fun. Learning something new or something you have never done. If your on the fence.... do it you will not regret it! Be safe shedding my friends and always wear the helmet!
Good to hear, float life!! honestly riding to work its the best moment of the day
I’m getting pumped from reading all these OW owners enjoyable journey!!
EUC is for riding to work if far 😏
I took a bad spill on mine today. I’m terrified of breaking my collarbone like most do but I’m still riding tomorrow. Take in mind, my shoulder is in pain but I just love my Onewheel so much.
I don’t comment often but have to do that with your video. Well done, it is extremely nice to see how excited you are being new to the OW community. After having mine for 13 months now, having ridden more than 3330km (as of today) I still feel the same every time. Great video and very well made.
Most important thing for me: if you fall no matter how hard the fall was, get back on and use it again immediately. Otherwise I feel it’s difficult to overcome the fear (had 3 hard falls within the first 9 months).
thank you dude, first time doing a video like this took me a lot of time. yeah i fully think if you fall you need to go back up the anxiety will built up more otherwise. great point !!!
Much respect! Great honest review. I really appreciate seeing a bigger guy riding one, as I am in the same category.
genuinely the most underrated video ive watched on this platform. Your content is inspiring. thank you for creating this!
thank you bro
Had my PintX since December 21…done over 300 miles, commute on it mostly & love it! It wasn’t instant love though I found it too hard, not to balance but to enjoy also foot fatigue making it uncomfortable. Two things that made a huge difference, different grip tape but even bigger, let some air out…there’s a sweet spot…I’ve gone over some serious pot holes & survived! Enjoy people, they are worth it! ;)
mmmh i am going to try to get some air out as mine its on 22 most of the time
I’ve had mine for 7 days and put almost 200 miles….
Awesome video! Your enthusiasm makes it so fun to watch!
Glad to hear it! it was nice to try something new. This is my favourite video i made so far
Love this review! As a guy around your size and fellow one wheel rider, it’s good to see others like me in the community. It can be fun for a ton of people!
yeah for sure i dont have any problem being more heavy then recommended it still work for me. What onewheel do you ride?
@@EnzoPlays I ride the Pint X too!
@Merkley Media pint X gang 👌🏾
I'm in the same boat (size wise) and really want the PintX but keep being told that I need the GT. I'm glad to see others my size opting for the PintX. After seeing this video, I'm definitely joining the PintX team!
I was 283 lbs on the OG pint and had a blast! I then upgraded to the X in March and doubled the fun with a friend since I had my old pint as a loaner! Sadly in May I ran into financial problems and sold both boards... But as of November 4th I lost 20 lbs and I was able to purchase a brand new XR (crazy right?) and man! Feels good to be back on one. Yesterday I peeped FMs website and saw the GT on sale for Black Friday and snagged that! These boards really help alleviate stress and I was ecstatic to see you (another big dude like myself) riding! 😎👍
Best purchase I've made also. So much exploring. Wind and focus and not a care in the world when I ride. Whether I am hitting trails or parks or pavement or bike paths. There is so much more to see.
Great video! Loved it.
Best fun your ever gonna have I have buddies that race pro I finally got mine about a week ago I took right off first time and now a week later super comfortable and already pulling tricks and rail slides ...
no way that super cool man. not really into the trick but I love the fact I can travel anywhere super easilly
@@EnzoPlays heck yeah brother shred on I've been rolling through the house all morning on the pint doing fake and 180s lol don't advise but I can't get enough Vrap on..
Get the GT foo!! If yer this pumped with the pint yer gonna love the GT. I rode pint for 2 years and now I’m 600 miles in on GT in only 50 days
one day i will for sure
Do you think I should get the GT for my first OneWheel?
@@hardcore4476 yessssssss
@@deemontes7265 Bet! I’m so quick at learning shit, and then always regret not getting the best when I know there’s better to be had.. Stay frosty 🥶
@@hardcore4476 oh yeah for sure the GT! Cuz you can start off on the first modes it has because those go slower and then when you get better you can change to a mode that goes faster
Banger 🔥🔥🔥
thank you
Nice video! I have to rewatch OW video during the winter because I can't ride mine haha I get excited watching videos and can't wait for the snow to completely melt. Hopefully by next month I can take it out! I bought the Pint X as my first OW last year in April but had to stop using it in september due to a baord issue. I had to send it back to FM , then was traveling etc So when I could use it again...winter came haha. I'm gonna make the most out of 2023 now!!
I love this video ❤
Great video man! Definitely has me more interested in buying one myself.. I think it’s something me and my daughter would love to do with one another!! Cheers on the future journey from dude in Colorado!! 🍻
You should! for sure. Thank you for the nice comment. i hope you have an awesme day
@@EnzoPlays likewise thank you
Great video and editing. Cheers!
Great Video man, really appreciate the feedback and this is the video the made me make the decision to get one :) So glad I did.
Glad I could help!
Tremendous video. Inspiring. I am going to get one. But I’m wearing pads too! I’m old 😂
Good to see a review in the UK.
Thank you brother. Defo recommend a GT if you are upgrading!
If your one wheeling in the northwest, hit me up and come and play with the GT. 👍🏻 😊
where about in the nortwest ? i travel un and down the uk most day for work
Triple eight wrist guard gloves. Saved me from broken wrist.
My lil middle class town is full of these one wheels it's hilarious.
Terrific review. You did a great job of helping me to see your learning curve. I was very impressed with how much more confident you were after two weeks. I want one for my commute (about 5.5 miles), but I worry about traffic. Do you feel stable enough to ride in the street with traffic, or do you stick to side roads? Again, great review. Thank you for your candor.
Always wear a helmet. It will save your life. It saved mine--on an Onewheel.
always wear it now bro
i would love a year update video
the weather in the uk is pretty bad atm moment but I have reach 1000 miles now and ira been neatly 2 years so will be working on that soon
Where’s my “where’s your helmet” squad at??
Hey mate ! Thanks for your video.
Just a quick question about the law. Don't you have to pay insurance for your onewheel ? Is it a thing just in my country?
Thanks by advance
As far as i am away it still doesn't have insurance for this its technically illegal but ride past police and nothing from them
Good video bro 👍 🔥
Big up
I ride my electric longboard over the bus, no doubt😎🛹 I used it to catch the bus the other day🤣
All these electric hobbies are worth the price!
ONEWHEELS are boredom killers. I bought 2 Gts and a Pint x. Both my kids come with me and we have a lot of fun.
fact - defo need to upgrade and get one for my my girlfriend
Im another person who does no comment often, but really enjoyed your video. I'm really considering getting thr Pint X also and had some concerns about being able to learn it. I'd be keen to know if you did any other oard experience prior to one wheel?
I don't but keen to get excited about getting out and enjoying float life.
Thanks again really enjoyed your vid.
thank you mate glad you enjoy the video no i havent had any experience of onewheel or skate board. It took me about 10/15 mins to start moving around on the onewheel then about 1 week to be comfortable
Hey man, dont get GT if your place is windy. The GT woble a lot when going around 14-17mph. Try the XR plus instead. It lower like a pint i think and much easier to manuver
Underrated
@@lumik2232 thank you mate
Are you on the stock tire or did you update to a more stable tire
original tire i think its actually a good tire but then i havent tried any other tho
The Pint X has a major design flaw in the battery housing that leads to damaged BMS balancing wires and main battery leads.
Oooops I see later on you got a helmet! 👏
I fell off my one wheel pint at about 15 miles an hour. Had too much in the pocket that I fell on and manage to snap my femur on day 2 of riding 😭 Now I gotta wait about 4 months before I can even write it again. Big sad
noooo sorry to hear that, you do need to be carefull but dont sell the board get on the board as soon your well enough
I don't understand where the fun part is. It seems that this thing is for commuting, I don't think commuting is a recreational sport. On a mountain bike, there is the speed and the downhills and the exercise and the challenge of overcoming obstacles. With a gravity longboard or an electric longboard it is about carving or speed or both. The other thing is the crashes on a One Wheel are always an over the front collar-bone break kind of crash. Top speed is slow and range is pretty short. I don't get it, what is the attraction?
Good job man, really enjoyed this video.
And great that you chose to wear a brain bucket, protects the most important thing you have ;)
Wearing a helmet does not look stupid.
Float on and stay safe!
well its definitely something we need to wear to product ourself
@@EnzoPlays hell yea buddy
Well said
So i wear vans and my feet hurt really bad, i wonder if its the flat foot design?
how long have you been riding for ?
@@EnzoPlays i am a new rider two months or so.
@@tonyruiz347 the more you ride the more you muscle will build too. that is something I didn't know when I did that video. i stop riding in winter and now it I get foot fatigue again but when I did that video I was riding 10 miles a day minimum everyday so I got use to it
The connection problems with bluetooth is common its just a bad bluetooth module they put in boards
i really want FM to work on that because it can be sooo frustrated i have riding a lot more mile than what it's been track
Mine works 100% for 3 years
Mine’s a 2nd hand Pint (out of warranty) - had to open up the controller box (needs special 5-point screwdriver bits & will void warranty if you have one) to fix the loose nut on the back of the power button - the power button lead was routed straight over the Bluetooth module, so I moved the wire to the side, so there’s nothing above the Bluetooth unit now.
Bluetooth is much better than it was, but still a little slow to connect.
Do you feel you get a good amount of range from the Pint X? Being a bigger guy myself I'm debating on the GT for the distance but I like the compact size of the Pint X.
i still get a good 10 miles with weighting 19 stone. if you have the money to go for GT go for it if not I rather buy a fast charger
@@EnzoPlays hey man - genuinely echo everyone else in saying thanks for such an honest and helpful review. So good to see a "normal" persons experience. Quick question as noticed you said you were 120kg and on their specifications it says max 100kg for the Pint X - have you been fine with it at 120kg? I am the same weight and thought I would have to go for the GT because of it but you may have saved me £1000+ haha. Let me know thanks dude =]
@@jordansapey8707 fully fine actually gain weight after that video and weight 135 Kilo iget 10 miles still at 135 kg and that is after a year of using it. Still suggest the pint when I was 120 I was 12-14 miles. will make an update video soon
@@EnzoPlays Thanks man you're a legend! Looking forward to it
Awesome video! I just ordered a pint x last week with the fender, rail guards and charging port plug. I am over the weight limit at 257lbs 5'11" and was worried that I would be too big. I'm quite excited for it to arrive tomorrow. I have never used one
Good
I think rail guards and float plates are more important than charger plug and fender, I prefer riding without a fender looks cooler
What are float plates?
Can i ask if you are still using it? Has it been reliable?
yes still use it, i dont ride it every day not but once a week I use it for fun, to go to the local shop, however am starting a new job which is near my house which I would probably use my onewheel to go there more instead of walking or driving. its too close to drive really
@GrandTouringLife ONEWHEEL GT! 🤙🏾
I’m about 295lbs and curious if this would work with my weight.
No the largest model is rated to 260. 295 would put you in danger of nose dive. Look into pushback and nose dive for more info.
It took me around 80-100 miles to really get good at riding my gt.
some people take longer to learn which is okay. I don't things am great at it yet but i am comfortable to ride long distance in a city now
Yeah 100 miles was where I became good enough for normal everyday riding. I didn't become truly "skilled" until around 1300 miles.
Is it more fun than a skate board?
yes
i wish i got a onewheel its so cool but really expensive
yes they are expensive but you can get some second gand some for cheaper
It is pretty expensive but completely worth it. I recently got a pint x, sold a motorcycle to get it. Ride to work daily and still want to ride after. So much fun.
float on my friend
yeaaaah boiiiiii
Are you still riding your one wheel?
yes if you see on my instagram I post story about it all the time
@@EnzoPlays thought about getting the GT?
@@JonasCraftUltimate yes i did but to be honest with you I don't thnk its worth the price. I would pay for a pint x but not more for a little bit faster
I can’t believe you are talking about protecting your one wheel when you don’t protect your head. You looked very inexperienced and you should have protected your self properly. Anyways I’m glad you figured it out
Nice _m/
sick looks scary tho
naaah its the best for sure
It physically hurt me watching you try to get on it backwards the first time lmao, that’s what EVERYONE does
Also be careful in puddles, I rode my gt ONCE home from work through the rain and I didn’t think anything was wrong but it’s been ghosting consistently since them, I’ve had to turn on simple stop and I’m waiting for a new front foot pad from FM
hahah tell me about it. Editing the video and watching back it was painfall to see. I was doing a few things wrong but i wanted to really show the improvement from day one to day 30. Plus i didnt undertand it had simple stop on the whole time so it wont even go backward too 🙄
i have riding in proper rain since am sure it's not the greatest for it but so far so good. i wll be more careful thank you for the heads up
@@EnzoPlays I have a feeling it’s mainly the gt with the super sensitive sensors and all the ghosting already happening, so you’re probably fine, it was just terrifying to watch that after experiencing what i have😭😂 float on brother and enjoy the experience!!
Bro helmet...knee pads.....safety gear to me allows me to not worry so much about crashing
Helmet!!!???
it's 1500$ now :(
damn that is lot wait for black friday its usually £100 with free add on
#helmetsarecool it's crushing losing a member of our community
its just something we must have tho
Helmet you noob
watch the video you noob
