ABOUT US
We are Steven and Diep, an Australian couple, who love to eat, travel and sometimes be a bit silly.
I was there earlier this year. It's a good omurice. But you're going for the show. And that show is performed for each customer in there. It's pretty crazy. But you can also get similar at Tameikan or any of the Hoshino coffee shops in Tokyo.
You're right. It's definitely the show that's the highlight.
Looks so delicious! Wish I could also go there someday! 😍
We hope you can go there someday too! 🙂
Wow that looks incredible 💜 😮
The best part is the show the chef puts on 🔥
Sadly they were closed on the day we were in Kyoto
That's unlucky 😔 I see you went to teamLab 😲
How can you manage to make the reservation? The schedule always full
=(
We booked way in advance and I think we just got really lucky. I checked the website and you're right. It's always full. Sorry =(
this Asia
It sure is!
You didn't tell us about the food 😂😂😂😂
You're right 😂😂😂😂 We're still new to filming so we'll try to improve on that next time.
Watch this video where we eat at the most bizzare Michelin restaurant in Tokyo: czcams.com/video/jaMje6qjn8E/video.html
It’s a grossly overpriced omurice; the restaurant was probably emboldened to charge that much by the hype generated by videos
Iike this.
Those who don’t admit getting ripped-off just say they ‘enjoy the show’. Then, why not just watch the earlier videos?
We enjoyed being there in person 🙂
@@stevenanddiep That doesn’t disprove my point.
@@joeabadierSounds like someone is a broke boy who gets salty at people with more money then him
Stick to eating air and drinking water bro if you behave in your reply to me I might give you the change in my jeans
@@saintpepsi8602 No. Keep defending yourself, gullible.
I don’t even know why I am replying to an idiot. But this would be the last for you.
WEEB!
The experience is part of what you pay for. Example, you can watch any football match for free on TV or online or go visit a stadium for very little money. However, if you want to watch the best teams go at it in a Champions League final, you're essentially still watching a football match, but the whole experience and atmosphere is different. Hence, you end up paying more. You can make the same example with cars, hotels, you name it. They all have the same function, and may bring you the same result, but the beauty is in the experience of getting that result.
Nobody is claiming this is the best omurice in terms of flavour, price, or anything. But it sure as hell is a damn cool and fun experience, and you know you aren't going there every day. Hype isn't a bad thing in moderation, but only you choose how much of it you absorb and what's worth it to you.
