Yes they trained in hip hop and rock genre i believe so no wonder they pulled off freeze so amazingly... but the fact that they pulled off the previous cb's especially crown as it was NO WHERE similar to what they trained for...i get surprised everytime
They trained different danve styles. I liked Bighit decision to chage the concept. If they debuted with a hiphop or a more powerful comcept, they wouldnt stand out. Most of the male groups debut like that and looking back, TXT didnt have the energy to do that. I dont know if I am being clear 😂. But what Im saying is that they were very young and gained confidence as time went by. If you compare their debut stage to the music bank special, you can see how much they changed. They were so young when debuted and had a more angelical aura, now as they are older, they can try different concepts and I love that, you dont get stuck with the same thing everytime.

It was so smart, because it is ARTIST of the month and supposed to let fans know something knew about the artist (aside from showcasing the skill). Yeonjun nailed it. NAILED. All in only one performance: different styles, props, facials, visuals, breaking the 4th wall.... I can talk for hours. Performance in TXT style, as expected. And... btw,... It's not all what this IT BOY got. They are reveiling his full potential step by step...
You could really see that yeonjun is faithful to his basics of dance. Even if there are vigorous moves in the choreo, he moves with purpose down to the very detail

I agree with u there. Yeonjun is a great performer, one of the best even. But I think he also said that he always wants to discover new genres of dance that's why rather than focusing on a type of dance that he could "marry" as you said, he prefer to branch out to more styles. Maybe cuz in the grp they have various genres pf dance and many more to follow....
i feel like we're still scratching a surface here yet shows what he's capable of. yeonjun has been showing his freestyles to moas on vlive and that boy is FLUID. txt trained with strong hiphop. he also enrolled dance academy and joined a dance crew predebut which made him learn different styles. he always say and show his love for dancing. im really really looking forward to him as a dancer and as an artist

That boy was added in the debut lineup the moment he entered Seoul... I feel like he’s second to Yeonjun in performance. Beomgyu excels so much we actually haven’t seen the full potential of TXT. I’m excited to see how TXT performs and grows in the future. I think we’ll see it when this pandemic shit is over! I miss seeing artists perform with live audiences.

i think it could be huengingkai too. huengingkai has one of the best facials and even though not the best in the group, he's still growing. if they give him a routine that fights his style.body, he'll def be able to show off his abilities.

JK and Yeonjun are the only idols I have seen that could pull off that move (turn at 8:03) it's really difficult to do because you need to have a lot of control over your body, especially the arms because that's what is giving you the balance to turn smoothly your hips and your lower body ~
