Jack, when writing a song like this, do you come up with a melody and base the harmonies and Song structure around it? Or do you come up with the harmonic structure first and then write a melody on top?
I actually talk a lot about this on Riffhard! This one started with me wanting to write a ‘chromatic’ style root movement around the melody actually!

We actually haven’t played together before! 😥 We did a Masterclass camp together in Spain a few years ago which was amazing but didn’t get to jam! I’m sure I’d die of fright if we did though haha! 🤣

Hey man! On this one we used the Quad Cortex. I still love and use the AMP1 quite regularly! Sometimes though it’s easier to just go direct with one of these or the plugins!
