If you are in the market for a Nice Mid 70's Malibu than this may be the one for you. This Two Owner Rust free Malibu has recently been cosmetically restored in a brilliant Turquoise metallic paint with the restoration being done in 2016. Its original 350 4bb engine was also beefed up and redone with new dual exhaust, and a new set of Cragar SS rims wrapped in Mickey Thompson RWL tires. It comes equipped with a 350 turbo transmission, 350 4bb V8 engine, non working Factory AC, power steering, power disc front brakes, am FM radio, and is riding on a nice set of Cragar SS rims really setting this one apart. Its white original interior is in excellent condition as well with only 79,607 original miles on it. Its floors, frame, and body are rust free and super solid. Its exterior paint looks great and is buffed to a brilliant shine laid out over a very straight body. It runs and drives great down the road and is ready to enjoy!

Little did I know the value these 70’s cars would bring. I had a 73 Malibu. They were cheap and plentiful back then. Saw these all over in the day. Wish I had one now.

Sharp, I absolutely love subtle and understated earth tones on American classics. I like old school glasspacks but without headers and I personally wouldn't have cut them by the rear end.

I had a 77. Straight 6, no AC (the "flip" from heat to defrost was non-vaccum. Just mechanical.) That was a real car. Here in Toledo sub zero in the morning before sunrise that baby would come to life, the entire car would shake, determined to come to life for 15 seconds. And then a smooth hum. I want another. Good Luck,, right. But what a car. 60s all the way around, handled flat like a road racer. Would bark those rear tires, loaded with 5 of us friends in it, leaving from a stop.

Really cool car I personally love the colonade cars, I’ve had 3 of the 73-77 Malibu’s and 3 of the Monte Carol’s and a 74 Grand Am and 74 lemans. That thing is really nice but it’s not a survivor when it’s been repainted and other stuff restored or rebuilt, like a built motor but still a really cool car. These cars are extremely overlooked by people, and you can do just as much with these cars as much as the earlier ones.

I agree with you - how many ‘66 to ‘72 Chevelle’s do you need to see before they’re kind of boring? If I’m at a car show, I would be MUCH more drawn to this one just because you simply don’t see them around anymore!

I owned my uncles 1977 Malibu with 90,000 miles 1984-1986. My first car. But it was deeply flawed for its time and the norm. It was a 2 door car with a 350, 2 barrel carburetor, had hubcaps instead of sport wheels, rips in the drivers seat; a faded back panel behind the back seat, and of course, a cracked dashboard, a typical 70’s GM car if you lived in a hot climate like Texas. Oh, and it was silver when I got it. Paint job was like sandpaper and rusty like most GM paint jobs with metallic colors in the 1970’s. I got a paint job with red pinstripes across it. Got a glass pack muffler with a single exhaust pipe and didn’t remove the catalytic converter to make it sound like a robust muscle car. And a USA 1 thing pasted above the drivers windshield, forgot what those things were called. I’m so old! Bottom line, all Chevelle’s and Malibu’s that were 1973-1977 models were totally forgotten. They were past the muscle car era and Gen X’er high schoolers in the 1980’s that owned them didn’t drive cool cars.

Yes I caught that too lol 305 was Chevy and they were great engines had many many of them over the years not real power houses but got the job done just find and would easily burn up tires as well w the low end torque that they had they ran out of steam on the top end due to very small valves and head design but thats what made them idiot proof they would not rev high enough to blow up due to again the bad small head design they had great engines tho for all around drivability and low end torque
