3. Her musical influences are Frank and Nancy Sinatra, Elvis, Steve nicks, Amy Winehouse, Bruce Springsteen, lou reed, Nirvana and many other.
The best thing is eveyone who is still alive of her favorites, They have showed the admiration and love back for Lana and her music. Which is really great I think.
Little fact. After 10 years, Born to Die is still on Bilboard top 200. Currently 434th week and it is second longest charting album by female artist in history (after Adele's 21) :)

She also did an interview reaaallly early in her career when she was still going by Lizzie Grant with index magazine that’s good if anyone is searching for more. Highlights include walking around the trailer park she was living in at the time and seeing the crime scene tape in the background.

It really is great! It’s the interview that made me fall in love with her. In many ways I think it’s the best interview she’s ever done because you get to see her so authentically.
I think it sounds a bit awkward because they are not speaking in their native language (and Italians are notorious for not speaking English well) and because they are big Lana fans so they were really excited. I thought it was really sweet.
Never seen this interview but it played out like a Lana song lol, at first you’re paused by the beauty trying grasp what’s going on, then you start to see what’s really there feeling the magnitude and by the end you’re in love and thankful. 😂😂✌🏾

You should watch a video called “the authenticity of lana del rey” it gives more insight to her early career and rise!
Lana was singing and trying to make as an artist before BORN TO DIE under other names (lizzy grant, lana del RAY etc...) for about 10 years And she had EPs released. They are very different. There are 100s of unreleased songs of hers that got leaked and are AMAZING. Some of them are even better than "some" tracks on album.
To be fair, her voice is a bit deeper in reality, so you were right to be shocked. She was kind of putting up a character here, she is shy, but the voice and looks are most likely done on purpose because it made sense with that whole era, like a 50s star. And it's so good, she's delightful to watch and listen to, she pulls it off really well also because...well she loves doing it. Thanks for reacting!
Something I established when I listened to Lana for the first time when I was 15 was that she has her own genre. I love the fact that she spoke about her and Kanye's appreciation for cinematic and orchestral strings - they are such Geminis.
she’s has some songs with rap features, in the lust for life album, summer bummer and groupie love with asap rocky, also and unreleased song “ridin” were she kinda raps lol
