I kinda went on a ebay hiatus last 2 months and can confirm for definite that if you are not actively listing your sales will go to practically NOTHING! Lol I have 147 listings. I sell alot of Jeans and some misc items. Mostly Jeans and all mens stuff. I sold ONE pair in the month of May so far. I stopped listing even though I had tons to list. (I had to step away from ebay for a moment) FF to this last few days I hired my niece to get my death pile listed and put in inventory (I bought out another seller) . We listed 50-60 items the last few days and all of the sudden the OLD stuff is starting to sell. Getting back up to about a sale a day (which is what it was when I was at about 200 items last time) When it's all said and done will have 800 items up and no death pile left. Close to my goal of 1000 by hopefully mid June

The group and YT are of inestimable value, I have a funky schedule and hardly make them live but I always watch replays of the morning calls and techs tuesday. Also Bret does an amazing job in the men's clothing call which I have yet to make live cause on Fridays I spend the entirety of the day out sourcing at yardsells in a big city about an hour away. This is making my business better and hopefully soon will make me comfortable financially even though I have blood cancer to deal with Ebay allows my schedule to fit my infusions and problems with body with a schedule I can make based on my body energy and ability. Thank you tech.

@@technsports I'm trying to list things people want. I look up everything before I list it. I'm trying to stay away from items that are under $15. I make sure most of them have sold already. I am an almost everything seller. I kind of know where I have been slacking, and I am trying to work on it. I've had too many unavoidable distractions for the last few months and I haven't listed as much as I should have. I want to work more, but feel like I'm pulled in a million different directions every day. I've listened to you for a long time now, and I'm kind of too embarrassed to say anything in the group. I don't want to be a complainer or Debbie Downer. I will just keep trying.

Yeah bro most people don't realize these are the months now to bulk up for Q4 and it varies per person. Someone who is brand new to eBay summer could be there best months compared to someone who has 2yrs under there belt.

Summer slowdown hitting me hard... but been hitting since March. What I figured I'd try this year is to stop buying right now while sales are slow. Instead, I amassed a "decent" deathpile during Q1 when the money was good, and will be listing off that until further notice. Also upping my listing goal from 5 to 7. I'm just part time so I don't necessarily NEED the sales... but I'm sitting at about 50% of what I consider "normal" gross sales, and I'm not having that.

Hey Tech I never thought I would disagree with you but it's happened.
I have a hard time selling single Tommy Bahama shirts but when I sell a lot of 3 or more same size I literally have 10x views and watchers and they almost always sell fast.
Even better with multi brand same size lots of things like golf polos. But that makes sense when there is four brands in the title.
Maybe it's just luck or a glitch but for me lots get lots of love.

If you have best offer on an over priced item it may never even get the opportunity to be seen to send an offer on
Can you use the word tags in your listing and list as pre owned?The item is unworn with tags from the thrift store. Or avoid tags all together and keep it in the photos?
Listed as pre-owned and saying it's new is a policy violation as we talked about in this Q&A

We answer this question on this call. Send them an invoice with combined reduced price invoice.
You can also set up combined shipping rules either by weight or per item.

I know you answered this at the end pertaining to dry clean only clothes but Do you even wash wool heavy sweaters fragile items in the washer?
Also how do u clean silk items?
Wool you have to be careful of drying them. I've cleaned silk
I use the hand wash cycle on cold in the washer and air dry. Sweaters lay flat and I hang silk. I’ve hand washed blazers in the sink. I am mostly a bins girl-so wrecking something is worth the risk usually. And I have wrecked stuff. lol It also brings me personal joy to save things-so it’s not for everyone. @donutsrus954
