- किसी देश में हुए राजनीतिक उथल-पुथल का असर उसके आसपास के देशों पर भी पड़ता है. खासकर, राजनीतिक और आर्थिक रूप से.
हाल ही में बांग्लादेश में हुए तख्तापलट का भारतीय बाजार पर असर दिख रहा है. खासकर मछली बाजार में. बाजार में हिलसा यानी पदमा इलिश मछली कम आ रही है, जिसके कारण इसकी कीमत काफी बढ़ गई है.
हिलसा, पश्चिम बंगाल के रहने वालों की पसंदीदा मछली है. यहां की शादियों में हो या दूसरे अन्य तरह के उत्सव में खासतौर पर ये मछली मेहमानों को परोसी जाती है.
भारत में हिलसा मछली मुख्य रूप से ओडिशा, कोलकाता और बांग्लादेश के पद्मा नदी से आती है. लेकिन खाने वालों के मुताबिक सबसे ज्यादा स्वादिष्ट बांग्लादेश से आने वाली होती है. वहीं बरसात के मौसम में इसका स्वाद दोगुना हो जाता है.
हाल ही में बांग्लादेश में आए राजनीतिक संकट ने इस मछली के आयात को काफी हद तक प्रभावित किया है. पिछले एक महीने से आयात लगभग शून्य हो गया है. जिसकी वजह से इसकी कीमत 1800 से 3000 रुपए किलो हो गई है.
राजधानी दिल्ली के चितरंजन पार्क के रहने वाले अरिजीत बासु हिलसा मछली के प्रति अपने प्रेम को कुछ ऐसे बयान करते हैं, “पश्चिम बंगाल के रहने वाले लोगों के बारे में कहा जा सकता है कि वे हिलसा के बिना जिंदा नहीं रह सकते. क्योंकि जो स्वाद हिलसा में है वह किसी और मछली में नहीं. इसीलिए सबसे महंगी होने के बावजूद हम सप्ताह में एकाध दिन इसे खाते हैं.”
समान्य दिनों में हिलसा की कीमत 1000-1500 रुपए किलो तक होती है. बता दें कि वजन के हिसाब से हिलसा की कीमत तय होती है.
सीआर पार्क में मछली की दुकान चलाने वाले दिव्येंदु दास बताते हैं, “अभी बांग्लादेश से हिलसा नहीं आ रही है. हम लोगों ने जो पहले खरीद कर स्टोर करके रखी थी वही बेच रहे हैं. क्योंकि इस मौसम में डिमांड ज्यादा होती है और वहीं सप्लाई कम हो गई है, इसलिए रेट बढ़ रहा है.”
एक अन्य मछली विक्रेता दीपक दास के मुताबिक, “इस समय बांग्लादेश से हिलसा मछली नहीं आ रही है. ब्लैक में कुछ मछलियां आ रही हैं लेकिन वह बहुत ज्यादा महंगी हो चुकी हैं. अभी डेढ़ किलो से 2 किलो के साइज की मछली का दाम 2500 से 3000 रुपए है जिसकी वजह से ग्राहक कम खरीदारी कर रहे हैं.
व्यापारियों के मुताबिक दिल्ली के सीआर पार्क में हर महीने करीब 60 क्विंटल मछली बिकती है जिसमें एक तिहाई हिस्सा पदमा इलिश का होता है. वहीं पूरी दिल्ली में हर महीने लगभग 300 क्विंटल मछली खाई जाती है. लेकिन बांग्लादेश में चल रहे राजनीतिक संकट की वजह से फिलहाल पदमा इलिश के शौकीन लोगों के जेब पर बोझ बढ़ रहा है और दुकानदारों के सामने यह चुनौती है कि वह अपने ग्राहकों को कैसे बांधकर रखें.

@@severisuk2095 আমাদের দেশে ইলিশের দাম কেজি ১৫০০ - ১৬০০ টাকা, আর হাসিনা সরকার সেই একই ইলিশ ভারতকে এত কম দামে এত বেশি পরিমানে দেয় যে ভারতীয়রা পায় ৮০০ - ১০০০ কেজি বা তারও কম। এমনও সময় গেছে ঢাকায় আমরা যে ইলিশ ১৩০০ - ১৪০০ কেজি টাকা কিনছি, আমার ভাইয়ের ভারতীয় কলিগ বলছে কলকাতায় বাংলাদেশী ১.৫ কেজির ইলিশ ৮৫০ টাকায় পাওয়া যায়।

last 2/3 years we couldn’t buy any hilsha fish because of very high price, 1000 tk per kg..and, our hilsha was sold in Calcutta market 200 rupees per kg.

@@WaleedShafeyee Even in West Bengal the Ghotis (original west Bengal people) do not like ilish much. It is only the Bangals(Original people from Bangladesh) who like ilish. That too most of the younger generation among the Bangals do not like ilish, only the 50+ Bangals love ilish. So it hardly matters if Hilsa is imported from Bangladesh. And plenty of ilish is produced in lndia from Diamond Harbour, Kolkghat (Rupnarayan river), Digha/Sankarpur mohona and lot of ilish is comming from Andhra (Godavari Hilsa,) and Narmada Hilsa (Gujrat), so there is no shortage of ilish in West Bengal. In fact yesterday l bought a 1.2 kg ilish from Ultadanga Market in Kolkata for 1100Rupees per kg. They were asking Rs 1200/kg, but ultimately sold me for Rs 1100/kg. The market is flooded with 600/700 gm ilish gor 600 to 700 rupees per kg. I have been to Bangladesh many times (around 20 times) on work and have tasted Padda ilish many times in mawa ghat in Bangladesh, and l can tell you the taste and quality of lndian ilish is almost same as that in Bangladesh.
If India stops polluting rivers, specially Ganga and Yamuna then there will be more Hilsha in Bangladesh, and we will be able to export those to India

Don't spread misinformation. Hilsa of two types. One from salt water and the other from river water. Hilsa fish usually live in sea. But in monsoon, they enter deep inside sweet water rivers for their hatching. In sweet water their test increased and so is their aroma. So, when the Hilsa enter river like Ganga, Rupnarayan, Padma, Erabati or Tapti, their test and aroma enhanced. But industrialization on the riverside of Ganga and Rupnarayan have polluted these rivers, so Hilsa Don't come in these rivers anymore. But being a more backward country which has very little industrialization, Padma in Bangladesh is still a destination of Hilsa. But the total Hilsa harvesting of Bangladesh is around 5 lakh MT, out of which only 8 - 10% is procured from Padma. The rest are procured from Jamuna , Meghna and Bay of Bengal, which has equal test as our Diamond Harbour or Digha. Bangladesh claims everything is Padma Hilsa, what is a lie. 3:30
