Ethnic Chinese Village on Bangka Island, Sip Pat Ho

Sip Pat Ho or better known as Deniang Village, is a residential area where the majority of people are ethnic Chinese on Bangka Island.
Deniang Village is a village in Riau Silip District, Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
So, we deliberately came to this village to see firsthand the atmosphere of the village.
We also explored the alleys in this village, the road was still Tanah Merah, not yet asphalted. We also saw several houses of ethnic Chinese residents which looked very comfortable and the environment was quite calm.
This village is quite close to the center of Sungailiat City, and if you are from the center of Sungailiat City, it won't take you half an hour to arrive at this village.
Not infrequently in Deniang village, various kinds of traditions celebrating holidays are often held, and usually in celebration of these holidays, the Malay people in Bangka will come in droves to see this ethnic Chinese traditional ritual, such as one of the celebrations that we have documented several times. In the past, at the Petti Miaa temple in Deniang village, there was a celebration of Chit Ngiat Pan or better known as the Sebut prayer by the people of Bangka Island.
Friends, the island of Bangka is famous for its harmony, high tolerance, and when one of the religions celebrates big holidays, the people here do not hesitate to visit each other, this is all for the sake of maintaining harmonious inter-religious relations and is one of the capital for creating environmental conditions that are safe, peaceful and peaceful, especially on the island of Bangka.

From our observations, Deniang Village on Bangka Island is quite advanced, we can also see that some of the houses of the ethnic Chinese community in this village are modern, although there are still some old Tempo Doeloe houses that we encountered in this village, apart from that the atmosphere in the surrounding is also very cool and comfortable.
