I pray in tongues every day. at first, it was like okay what's going on here. then as weeks and months and now years have gone by. I got a full understanding of what the Holy Spirit was doing. It started off as just speaking in tongues, and now it's singing in tongues to God. I also take an hour a day and just stop everything and close my eye's and spend time with the Lord. All my cares I place on him and after an hour with God. I'm ready for the rest of the day. God Bless you all!!

Everybody doesn't receive the gift of tongues, but everybody can receive the gift of the Holy Ghost that comes with tongues. That is why you don't pray in tongues because you are unsure that it is the will of God. Faith begins where the will of God is Known. The Holy Spirit could not dwell inside of the believer until Jesus died on the cross and paid the price for sin. So YES it is God's will for EVERY believer to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and Speak in tongues. Gave my life to Jesus in October of 1983, Got Baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues at a youth meeting in March of 1984. Speak in tongues everyday.

But it says in the Bible that all spiritual gifts will not be given to all. That’s what baffles me when one says that tongues is proof of having the Holy Spirit. What if it’s not a gift that God has chosen to give you?
Read 1 Cor 12:11 it explains that the Holy Spirit chooses whom he gives the gift to. So the reason you and I likely do not have it because it is a gift that the Holy Spirit has not chosen to give us. I love creflo but this is an incorrect message and I believe it is creating many false tongue speakers. My brother whom does not believe in the Holy Spirit speaks in tongues fluidly.

I believe the verse you brought up refers more or less to the specific gifts that we specialize in or were created to use constantly! Now there are times that the Spirit gives a gift in the moment of a situation but personally I have seen the gift of praying in the Spirit transform my life. It currently is as we speak! The following verses I added also have to do with tongues in the church but I would say to seek the Spirit and let the Spirit guide you into all truth regarding this gift my friend. So when you pray in the Spirit sister your Spirit is praying. I love something Andrew Wommack said once. Pray in English in your mind and let yourself pray in tongues in the Spirit! I pray in tongues every day. at first, it was like okay what's going on here. then as weeks and months and now years have gone by. I got a full understanding of what the Holy Spirit was doing. It started off as just speaking in tongues, and now it's singing in tongues to God. I also take an hour a day and just stop everything and close my eye's and spend time with the Lord. I've Always been a Christian all my life but I never spoke in tongue....to be honest I was never taught how or what it should feel like or how to identify it.. So I never did because I never knew ... Pastor please show people like me how to do it

Dunno if you’ve received your prayer Language yet, but praying that you do in Jesus’ name right now since I am seeing your comment now. Watch Derek Prince teachings on Speaking in tongues and teachings from Todd Smith bout praying and speaking in tongues because this is not something you have to work for… it is by simple faith just as we receive salvation. I watched a teaching this past week in which I was reminded that speaking in tongues is actually part of our full armor of God… its listed with the armor in Ephesians 6:6-12 to pray in the spirit. We focus so much on the pieces of armor that I hang paid attention to the importance of this directive given by Paul when putting on the armor. The Word says to pray in the spirit to build your faith and your strength, and it gives you peace just as Bro Creflo says in this teaching. Derek Prince vids can lead you thru prayers to receive and to remove any hindrances so you receiving it isnt blocked. Do not let the Devil make you feel stupid or silly or like its not of God cuz its just you making nonsense sounds… how ELSE is he gonna keep us from praying in our prayer Language?? I love the teachings of praying in tongues..but I can't pray in tongues and I'm not alone in the area..I pray and desire it if it's the will of God
That is why you don't pray in tongues because you are unsure that it is the will of God. Faith begins where the will of God is Known. The Holy Spirit could not dwell inside of the believer until Jesus died on the cross and paid the price for sin. So YES it is God's will for EVERY believer to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and Speak in tongues. Gave my life to Jesus in October of 1983, Got Baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues at a youth meeting in March of 1984. Speak in tongues everyday.

I don't know how to pray in tongues and I asked to be blessed with the gift more than once
But it says in the Bible that all spiritual gifts will not be given to all. That’s what baffles me when one says that tongues is proof of having the Holy Spirit. What if it’s not a gift that God has chosen to give you?
Read 1 Cor 12:11 it explains that the Holy Spirit chooses whom he gives the gift to. So the reason you and I likely do not have it because it is a gift that the Holy Spirit has not chosen to give us. I love creflo but this is an incorrect message and I believe it is creating many false tongue speakers. My brother whom does not believe in the Holy Spirit speaks in tongues fluidly.

I believe from reading the bible that it is Gods will that if we want the gift of praying in the Spirit then He shall give it to us! I believe the verse you brought up refers more or less to the specific gifts that we specialize in or were created to use constantly! Now there are times that the Spirit gives a gift in the moment of a situation but personally I have seen the gift of praying in the Spirit transform my life. It currently is as we speak! Five reasons to pray in Tongues. I think the lesson should be Five lessons on HOW to pray in Tongues (if there is such a lesson). Believers should be taught how to pray in Tongues. I have been in church for almost 30 years, have not prayed in tongues not because I don't want to but don't know how to. I have a prayer life and I'm in the Word regularly but it just never happened. Hi Paster Creflo. When I pray in tongues, my mind wonders everywhere. What do I do? Do I force my mind to stay on Jesus and think Godly things, or do I just let it wander freely? Hope you will answer me back by replying to my question.
So when you pray in the Spirit sister your Spirit is praying. I love something Andrew Wommack said once. Pray in English in your mind and let yourself pray in tongues in the Spirit! Or what I love to do is just focus on God or Jesus or the sacrifice of the cross. It's really helped me in my prayer life. Hopes this helps sister.
I usually set my mind on the fact that I'm speaking to God! I focus on Him and I found out that it's more effective that way.

After you pray for about 20 minutes, your mind starts to calm down. Just keep praying your mind will for sure calm down!!!
