@Dylon Gilbert you gotta understand. Casual fans don't understand that you respect all the great boxers. Who knows how old that Pacquiao fan is. He might be a kid for chris sake. Who was the first boxer you saw fighting that made you a boxing fan? Everyone started somewhere. Mine was Mike Tyson when he was fighting in the early 80s.

    • @dickeymono
      @dickeymono Před 3 lety

@Dylon Gilbert Floyd didn't show up in Dallas. That was the time to fight..Floyd is the more intelligent fighter, but manny(in Dallas) had had quicker feet and faster hands..coming from the south paw stance. Floyd knows he's the more intelligent fighter so one of his strategies is to wait for fighters to slow down. Tim Bradley"He doesn't challenge himself". And how many times did tim fight manny at the top of his game! A fighter (Bradley) that didn't have half the gifs that floyd did. Now tell me i don't know the sport.

    • @dickeymono
      @dickeymono Před 3 lety

@Dylon Gilbert In 2010 Dallas..floyds hands and feet were better coordinated. Floyd waited for him to slo down before he finally fought him. Had he showed up in Dallas..that's a different fight. 2010 pac (feet) could step with you..then pounce on your ass so quick out of no where. When floyd scouts his opponents..he looks at their feet 1st. If you knew boxing..with beginners the 1st thing a trainer is spose to teach and adjust is the feet. Please don't pretend as is if you knew that. 2010 (in Dallas) would have not been easy for Floyd, and a true boxing savant would know that. Who would have won?..ill say this..floyd knew that pac had more enough intelligence to complement that athleticism(coming from the south paw stance) to beat him. Conventional fighters are far more cautious when they book fights with south paws because it's hader to take away the jab. U wanna try debating wit me..your gonna get educated at the same time. Even if your not man enough to admit it.

He even took on an mma fighter who was known as the most devastating stand up fighter in mma, and Floyd beat him. He even beat a high level kick boxer.
Hell, he even beat pack himself. He had pack punching air in many rounds.
Floyd is simply the best ever.

@AntMan lmao. Floyd does not hold the most World Champions anymore. 😂
Following up on Floyd Mayweather’s admission that Manny Pacquiao would overtake his mark of 23 world champions beaten, WBN decided to crunch the numbers.
Going through both records with a fine-tooth comb, it seems Mayweather has counted his two victories over Jose Luis Castillo and Marcos Maidana.
The actual number of world champions defeated by Mayweather is 22. The total reaches 24 if you add the rematch wins.
Pacquiao, on the other hand, has 22 victories over recognized title holders. That number stretches to 25 with second triumph.
Therefore, the Filipino Senator holds the record all on his own. A blow to Mayweather, who obviously wanted to hold on to it a little longer.
Below is a list compiled of all the belt holders who the two rivals have overcome.
Unless Floyd Mayweather comes out of retirement at the age of 43, the record stays with Manny Pacquiao.
      FLOYD MAYWEATHER - CHAMPIONS BEATEN
      Genaro Hernandez
      Diego Corralez
      Gregorio Vargas
      Carlos Hernandez
      Jesus Chavez
      Jose Luis Castillo (twice)
      DeMarcus Corley
      Arturo Gatti
      Sharmba Mitchell
      Zab Judah
      Carlos Baldomir
      Oscar De La Hoya
      Ricky Hatton
      Juan Manuel Marquez
      Shane Mosley
      Victor Ortiz
      Miguel Cotto
      Robert Guerrero
      Canelo Alvarez
      Marcos Maidana (twice)
      Manny Pacquiao
      Andre Berto
      MANNY PACQUIAO - CHAMPION BEATEN
      Chatchai Sasakul
      Lehlohonolo Ledwaba
      Jorge Julio
      Marco Antonio Barrera (twice),
      Erik Morales (twice)
      Oscar Larios
      Juan Manuel Marquez (twice)
      David Diaz
      De La Hoya
      Ricky Hatton
      Miguel Cotto
      Joshua Clottey
      Antonio Margarito
      Shane Mosley
      Brandon Rios
      Timothy Bradley ( twice)
      Chris Algieri
      Jessie Vargas
      Lucas Matthysse
      Adrien Broner
      Keith Thurman
Despite this fact, Pacquiao rattled through the divisions and became a world title-holder at seven or eight different weight classes, dependent on which sanctioning bodies you count.
Losing seven times, the 41-year-old has made comeback after comeback and continues to reign at welterweight - even today.

So you mean, Marquez is stronger than these guys: Cotto, Hatton, Thurman, Margarito, Mosley all the legitimate Welterweight? Marquez landed those shot on their prime but it never KO manny down. Only way to defeat him is KO and he just need to avoid that and he did pretty good to avoid it. MANNY BEAT MORE CHAMPIONS THAN FLOYD.
Following up on Floyd Mayweather’s admission that Manny Pacquiao would overtake his mark of 23 world champions beaten, WBN decided to crunch the numbers.
Going through both records with a fine-tooth comb, it seems Mayweather has counted his two victories over Jose Luis Castillo and Marcos Maidana.
The actual number of world champions defeated by Mayweather is 22. The total reaches 24 if you add the rematch wins.
Pacquiao, on the other hand, has 22 victories over recognized title holders. That number stretches to 25 with second triumph.
Therefore, the Filipino Senator holds the record all on his own. A blow to Mayweather, who obviously wanted to hold on to it a little longer.
Below is a list compiled of all the belt holders who the two rivals have overcome.
Unless Floyd Mayweather comes out of retirement at the age of 43, the record stays with Manny Pacquiao.
    FLOYD MAYWEATHER - CHAMPIONS BEATEN
    Genaro Hernandez
    Diego Corralez
    Gregorio Vargas
    Carlos Hernandez
    Jesus Chavez
    Jose Luis Castillo (twice)
    DeMarcus Corley
    Arturo Gatti
    Sharmba Mitchell
    Zab Judah
    Carlos Baldomir
    Oscar De La Hoya
    Ricky Hatton
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Shane Mosley
    Victor Ortiz
    Miguel Cotto
    Robert Guerrero
    Canelo Alvarez
    Marcos Maidana (twice)
    Manny Pacquiao
    Andre Berto
    MANNY PACQUIAO - CHAMPION BEATEN
    Chatchai Sasakul
    Lehlohonolo Ledwaba
    Jorge Julio
    Marco Antonio Barrera (twice),
    Erik Morales (twice)
    Oscar Larios
    Juan Manuel Marquez (twice)
    David Diaz
    De La Hoya
    Ricky Hatton
    Miguel Cotto
    Joshua Clottey
    Antonio Margarito
    Shane Mosley
    Brandon Rios
    Timothy Bradley ( twice)
    Chris Algieri
    Jessie Vargas
    Lucas Matthysse
    Adrien Broner
    Keith Thurman
Despite this fact, Pacquiao rattled through the divisions and became a world title-holder at seven or eight different weight classes, dependent on which sanctioning bodies you count.
Losing seven times, the 41-year-old has made comeback after comeback and continues to reign at welterweight - even today.

From flyweight to Junior middleweight, do you realize how hard that is? just imagine it is like Floyd fighting from lighweight to heavyweight. Someone tried it but fail, because they lost from going up in weight but Pacquiao won it all. ., 8 division world champion, and for the record he skip 2 weight classes.
For the record Pacquiao has no business fighting at welterweight, because he is not a natural welterweight, he is a lightweight. Fighter like Spence, Thurman and Porter are natural middleweights, they can rehydrate themselves to get the welterweight limit, just imagine Pacquiao the same size as them., he will demolished all of them., including Mayweather.
Like what Max Kellerman said if Floyd and Pacquiao are on the same size, Floyd can't beat him, because all of the advantages are on Floyd, the height, reach and weight a naturally bigger man, and Pacquiao can still compete in a highest level with all the disadvantages. Pacquiao is a freak of nature.

Depends on the criteria. If making the most money and choosing the right guys at the right time of course it's Floyd. If you think about which career would you like your son to have, most would say Floyd I mean if Manny was my son I would never have let him move above 130lbs cause that would have been way too big of a risk.
If you think just about accomplishments, opposition and divisions then obviously it's Pacquiao, he is the better fighter pound for pound.

That fight was extended in so many years not because of issues like drug test, and money; that is just an understatement. It simply because of the fact that mayweather is afraid of facing pac that he created so much alibys to delay the fight. To add out his early retirement exactly after the fight and not giving a chance for rematch.
