- Louis Vuitton Leather bag restoration. Dog ate corner of Louis Vuitton canvas bag. The client took the bag to be repaired in a shoemaker's shop. There they put a patch on her bag. She was not satisfied with the result. She went online and found my workshop. This is where I get in on the action.
Bags repair
The video shows the restoration of a Louis Vuitton canvas bag. First, rip off the old patch. Strutting the entire corner of the bag. Attaching fabric base. Building a new canvas with texture. Coloring under the original. Stencil spraying. Sewing the elements of the bag back by hand.

So talented. 👏 I wish the LV repair offered to fix damage canvas, but they just don't want to do it and they only repair leather only. 🤷♀️

True true about replacing leather! That's what I mean. That's what they do on their repair service. 😅 They don't want to repair canvas because they just want people to buy new bags instead. 🤦♀️
The cobbler repair shops in America seem sloppy or lazy on repairing canvas like patching it up, and it's still noticeable. They just get leather or recycled canvas to cut out and patch it on the damaged purse, but it still looks sloppy. Most of their work I've seen are sloppy. If there are professionals like you in my country, I'm sure it's worth getting fixed by them. If I could afford to ship my bag to you for a repair then I'd definitely do that. ✌️
