    Hey everyone! Just a quick heads up that I will most likely not be posting for the next week or so while I work to set up my new laptop! Once everything is sorted out, I'll do my best to continue rolling out new content every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday! Thanks for your patience and understanding in advance!

    Excellent video of the CN GP9RM's, I really do miss watching these engines around Bissel/Boston Bar.

      Thanks, Shane! We were jumping up and down at the sight of the leader... imagine the look on our faces when we saw the other 😋 Definitely great entertainment in between the road trains!

    Amazing! Very friendly crew indeed, I had an encounter like that with CP once at Clover Bar!

      Thank you! That's too cool, it is getting harder and harder to find crews these days like that!

    3:47 who said that? The conductor or Alex?

      @AlbertaBoundRailfanning  Před 3 lety +1

      Hahaha, that was the conductor. I'm surprised the camera picked it up as well as it did with all of the other noise!

    Pretty cool! Awesome to see old power like that. They sound just like the F units in Trainz lol. Probably bc they the same company and same era. Why were the ditch lights covered? I mean they probably wouldn’t be going faster than 15MPH over a crossing because of what they’re meant for and the fact that I’ve never seen a train go faster than .5mph on the Edson lol. Cool video!

      Thanks a lot! Haha, yes, that classic engine sound is to die for! The ditch lights were definitely odd, I'm not too sure if the unit had them to begin with at all or if they were covered (kind of looked like it). Just you wait until I get some 60+mph videos up that I shot back in November! Thanks again bud!

      I've just been informed that those "ditch light covers" are actually slug sockets. That unit is designed to control a slug, and that's where it's cables would plug in when in use!

      That's awesome, Joel! I don't have an HO layout myself, but I'm sure if I did I'd have a spot for a set of these haha!
