    Thank you - I tend to not use Moxie regularly-so I come to this reminder every time I start.

    So glad you made this video. I was on the struggle bus when it came to loading and now I have this to be my guide. Also like the tip of aligning your backing to the edge of the leader and pinning. I was doing it in an awkward way that made it so much harder than it needed to be.

    I love these type of videos even though I have a little foot frame with the little buddy. I have multiple times forgotten to go under the leveler/idler bar. The good thing with the little foot frame is you just have to unclamped the leveler bar and put it back on top of the quilt top and reclamation it. So glad I thought of that before unpinning the top to do it correctly.

      You can also unvelcro the leader and slip it into the correct position. (:

    I just got my new Studio 2 frame and when I loaded it I couldn't figure out why the backing material was slanting down toward the front. Found your video and realized I was loading for standard and the side arm was in clear view! I didn't know what clear view was. Thanks for the video!

    Great video and reminders. Question: why would you use one over the other?

    • @HandiQuilter
      @HandiQuilter  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Standard Loading
      Provides a visual reminder of actual quilting space and easy access to the bobbin area for oiling and bobbin changing.
      ClearView Loading™
      Often chosen for ruler work, this option clears the way for the use of longer or larger rulers and templates.

    Excellent video, thank you. I'd like to make a couple of small suggestions. The captions telling what the different views are best for are not easy to read and easily missed if the viewer is focused on watching the demonstration. It would be helpful if you could explain this verbally before demonstrating the methods. Additionally, it would be really appreciated if you could, in the end, summarize the differences in the implementation of each method-- e.g. "in standard view, the front bars are parallel, in clear view the 2nd bar is higher than the first; in standard view you load your quilt back first, then the top.... etc. etc.. Or at least put it in the description of the video. For those totally new to long arm quilting it may help to eliminate confusion based on the assumption of certain bits of knowledge that the quilter doesn't yet have.

    Glad you showed how to do this. However, I have a 2013 gallery frame. Can I convert it to clear view somehow? I currently do not load my top onto a bar (floating instead) because I do a ton of ruler work.

    • @HandiQuilter
      @HandiQuilter  Před 8 měsíci

      As the frame is currently, no, you can not do ClearView. However, you can purchase a sidearm kit which would convert it so that it has the ability to do ClearView. You can find info on it at your local retailer or at handiquilter.com
