Im not classically trained and did click notes in successfully for over a decade however over the last 5 years have been playing more stuff in and there is a difference in feel. Clicked in midi cant really complete with live recorded midi played on keys mainly because of natural swing and never quontise anything, i want things to be fluid not on grid.
Yeah, clicking in notes works for some, but I just haven’t been fast enough with it lol. What matters most is what comes out of the speakers, so to each his own. But yeah, I agree, there’s definitely a more human-feel to playing the notes yourself.

not bad.... homeboy wired wit Akia, but real talk it's hip hop or rap.. that's a rap beat. Cats these days throw a reverb on a kick drum and all asudden it's a new genre. Trap Drill, peanut butter and jelly sandwhich. remember chop & screwed. 10 years from now we're gonna have whole home depot of hip hop genres..... Hammer beats, Nail gun drums, lumber yard bars,, straight up build tree fort now
That’s true bro. I’ve always viewed trap as a sub genre of hip hop, as opposed to a totally different genre. To me hip hop as a whole is a culture that a lot of things are based off of, including the clothes you wear lol.

Hip-hop is of course 4 elements, I'm actually writing a short story book on how it impacted my creativity as an artist
Hip hop has no real guidelines on what is or isn't "ART" where Art class if you don't glue them beans to the paper like Ms. Karen said to then your not making it 4th grade. Maybe I wanted cook the beans and glue her lips together, I think the rest of the homies would appreciate the creativity lol
