I've never understood why people felt the need to hate on others for practically no reason at all.
This includes youtubers, strangers on the Internet, and celebrities. Like, unless they've done something horrible to you directly, why?
+Olivia Li I agree :) Honestly, even if they've done something horrible to you directly, I feel like it's better to try to understand why if nothing else for your own closure, to realize that oftentimes that anger is all about the other person and nothing about you. And in cases where someone's a complete, relentless jerk, it's better to just walk away from the situation than to escalate it by becoming mean in return. So I feel like hating on other people never works, really, no matter the circumstances.

Here's the thing about beauty. Beauty is like a car. Yes we all want a Ferrari with a V10 engine but this world isn't filled with that.
Ask yourself this question. Would you rather have a prius with a V10 engine or a Ferrari with prius engine? Because that's what you're looking at when you see a hot girl with bitch attitude vs an ugly girl with a heart of silver and gold ( an angel ...if you want to call it that ). A lot of people choose the Ferrari with a prius engine, and might I say how sickening it is to see. Choose wisely because unlike a Ferrari ...people don't understand that looks fade away. I'm really happy you added in those nice comments at the end. When people read mean comments its either meant to be funny or meant to make you sad. But this ended with a happy approach. Emily, there are always people that are out to ruin your day, don't let them. If I get criticism I try to look for anything constructive in it, if there isn't anything I can learn from then I let it go. Its a very conscious mental exercise, and it helps me from having my day ruined by some jerk. You can be constructive or destructive, there isn't a lot of middle ground. If someone doesn't like your nail polish but can't give you any tips on how to improve its not worth your time or effort to figure out why they even bothered to comment in the first place. One of the things I really like about Kim Kardashian is she is an expert at rolling with the haters, yeah so that is about the only thing I like about her, but its really a good life lesson. If someone cracks a mean spirited joke she is the first to laugh, if you hate her she thanks you for it. Thats how you get on top of your game.

For me I only ever post a comment if i love the video or when i want to say a nice thing. If you spread hate it'l just make you feel great for a minute then crappy for a long time. Saying nice things and spreading positive messages make you feel happy all the time...no real choice is there?

Exactly, if I start watching a video and realize I don't like it, I do this thing that most people don't seem to know how to do....I click away. No comments, no "thumbs down" no nothin'. It just seems so strange to voice mean ideas to people. I'm fine with sponsored videos. But coca cola as a partner for a video about positivity? I was so on board and happy with this video until what felt like a bait and switch. It's easy to dismiss this kind of comment as "hate" but it is truly coming from a place of constructive openness. I truly loved the video until the end, now I feel a bit gross :( Hope in future you can partner with companies doing positive work in the world. x

I kind of agree, but remember that the message of the video doesn't change, Hannah wouldn't have done it if it wasn't something she believed in. And yeah, coca cola is a disgusting organisation, but try to think of it as Hannah taking some of their money to be able to put it towards better video quality for us.

I know this is incredibly cliché but don't be mean. On CZcams you have a choice to make nice comments, mean comments or nothing at all. This video just proves the impact of nice comments. Anyone watching this video felt better when they read the nice comments so why would you write anything but nice comments? And if you don't like the video then just skip it or instead of calling them a ho or whatever actually provide constructive criticism that would help make their content better without insulting them. It sucks (it really, REALLY, sucks), but it happens. I used to wait with you for the bus in Burlingame before school and you were the nicest, funniest, sweetest person I've ever met! I love watching your videos and all your success. I was going through a pretty horrible time back then and hanging out with you before school was the highlight of my day, then you moved I think or we changed schools I can't remember it was back in middle school (nightmare days). if you guys are wondering for one single powerful thing you can do that will make you more happy, don't engage in gossip and don't talk about people behind their backs. I recently have been a lot happier and more satisfied with my life for seemingly no reason, and then I noticed that this change occurred when I decided to stop interacting with negative energy. i found that avoiding those situations altogether make you a lot happier in the long run and you feel the effects of it pretty quickly. just thought id throw that out there.
