PCB needs to pay close attention to the selection of the selectors. These must be former cricketers who understand the system, know how to spot talent in the domestic setup, and have the highest integrity. Each selector picked should be able to resist pressure, willing to work hard, and avoid too much proximity with the players to mitigate potential for bias. Anyone with close links to any player or their agents must be weeded out.
There should be one chief selector like all other cricket boards in the world

What has superstar culture has to do with ego clashes and conflicts??this is not league cricket it's a national team it's not as if we have not been doing well and due to which gambhir has been appointed.
We have been doing well in international cricket across all formats in last 5-6 years the real challenge for gambhir ll be to keep up the consistency and win more tournaments and without our senior members support its not going to happen in longer format and even gambhir is aware about it.

I don't know u have seen recent interview of coach Mike Hesson with Saj Sadiq, if not do see. U will find huge difference of mindset between these modern coaches and our self assumed super heroes past players. No place for stat padders. The comment which hit me the most is that if someone in the top order has no faith in the middle order and takes the game deep he should be kicked out from the team immediately as his job is to set up the game for others to finish. U can leave to much for middle orders to be superman. While our past players keep on shouting all the time that there is no middle order so Babar has to stay longer. Huge difference of how western modern coaches and our players who are still stuck in the 90s approach the game.

This is so stupid, RIP our cricket. We had one thing to be proud of, and now that's purposely being ruined. I'm not sure how sacking the selection committee is gonna do anything. I don't wanna say anything bad, but bad words aren't enough to describe how selfish and egoistic Babar Azam is as a cricketer. I have never seen such a below average player like him being treated so special. He's so good that he will keep making the same mistakes for the rest of his life. Keep this up for the next 10 years, and our legacy will continue to fade.

I think Wahab Riaz was rightly sacked. He selected wrong team, brought back retired players. Imad Wasim was not fully fit, yet he was carried to World Cup. Why? Wahab is best friends with Amir and Imad. Azam will not selected by any team in the world, no matter how much his strike rate is. Also I think Babar will be sacked too as captain. This is why Mohsin Naqvi is not meeting him. Shadab’s selection was also big question mark.
Ali here: There were 6 members in selection committee other than Gary and Babar .. why only 2 of them sacked for poor selection and rest pardoned? If they were pardoned because Wahab and Razzaq forced everyone despite everything in transparency as PCB claimed it earlier. Then why action wasn’t taken right away? As they say grapes are sour.
