Joyner definitely has drifted away from his normal tone, buy my guess would be that's more of the labels he's working with than his actual self. So the 180 rule is a rule. But the last few years the 180 rule has been broken more and more. This is because it passes with the audience better because they nowadays pick up on visual cues way better then in the past. Also, in this instance breaking the 180 rule may have been intentional to create a chaotic feeling supporting the rant. Anyway, great review as always.

my issue with Joyner is that he either makes catchy music (which has been less good than before) or lyrical/topical stuff that seems to be made specifically for CZcams reactions and has no replay or playlist value whatsoever. I feel like he forgot how to make songs like I'm Sorry or even all the way back to Nightmares, which had content, but also a hook and musically were nice. I think this is better than most of his recent lyrical ones, but they're theater acts, not songs I want to hear a bunch of times.
