  • Marau Peninsula has no paved roads, it is a rustic and charming beach destination still fairly unknown. There are many attractions to discover, so we recommend waking up early to enjoy the more distant beaches. Stop first at the lighthouse hill to get a panoramic view. The landscape blends stunning beaches, lagoons, tropical and coconut forests, mangroves, hills, islands, and small villages. Head to the bayside which has quiet beaches and eat at Ro's restaurant, which faces the Serra river. Rent an ATV to reach the Cassange lagoon and Arandis beach, passing by the giant bromeliad trail. Don't miss the sunset of Ponta do Mutá, where there are several bars on the sand to enjoy the view of the bay while drinking a beer.
