    The PocketNC requires the setup to include the stock, part, and origin to be placed in predefined locations. I have created a sample assembly file in the CAM Samples - Machine Tables - PocketNC that you can use to easily drop in your parts.
    As always, let me know if you have any questions! Enjoy!

    Hi Xander,
    Fusion 360 now supports 5 axis surface morph and i would like to see a video from you with your PocketNC :)

    yo thank you so much for the nc viewer... I am new to the cad/cam game and thank you for the video... running fusion 360 and got a pocket NC as my learning curve.... thanks.. if you could bang out a video on setting my pocket nc offset from the table... ive ran a sketch line off to the .8326 origin point and still pulling errors... luckly just found your ncviewer and don't have to run across town while im running trial and error lol.. long message to simply say thank you ver much.... going from being machinist by hand to cnc programmer has been one fun ride.. thanks so much for your help//// prob should have spell checked or proof read...…… naw RAW lol

    hey luciano, great video, quick question for your ncviewer could it be possible to insert a cad part for example insert the pocket nc, so we can get a better feel for the rotation capabilites of the pocketnc and look if that toolpath we created is actually possible to run instead of potentially damaging the pocketnc. Just a thought!

      Thanks and great suggestion! I have something along the lines of machine simulation planned that will support this, but it will be some time before I have that fully functional and integrated.

      Machine simulation is working well with NX and Mastercam..... but who wants to use those? I really want Fusion 360 to excell

    Hi, I am new to PocketNC. Where do I download your PocketNC setup files to run on Fusion 360 installed on my PC? Thanks

    whoops i accidently deleted my comment^^ I have possibly found a bug, i have generated my Toolpath in Metric units but the Toolpath looks somehow strange and not complete and the tool is not following the toolpath but it looks like it is following the toolpath in imperial units

    • @XanderLuciano
      @XanderLuciano  Před 7 lety

      No worries but oh huh, yea that is definitely not following the correct path. I probably forgot to convert the tool positions to metric. Sweet, thanks for catching that!

      No Problem :) Btw the Machine simulation is really nice, is it also able to detect collisions? what about different workholding solutions?

    • @XanderLuciano
      @XanderLuciano  Před 7 lety

      Thanks! And I have some code in place for collision detection and fixturing, but it's quite a bit of work. My current plan is to add all the "core" features a backplotter should have, and then begin adding advanced features such as collision detection and more complex setups.
