- In this video, I'll be showing you how to make Oreo Cheesecake Cookies. It's one of my favourite cookie recipes of all time, they are extremely easy to whip up and taste like heaven! They are OH so soft and creamy.
Makes 24 servings
INGREDIENTS
1/2 package of cream cheese (4 oz.), room temperature
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
12 Oreo cookies
INSTRUCTIONS
Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Chop the Oreo cookies into small chunks.
In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy. Mix in the sugar and vanilla extract until fluffy.
Add in the flour until combined, then stir in half of the crushed Oreo cookies.
Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F.
With a medium cookie scooper (1 1/2 tablespoons), scoop the dough onto the lined sheets.
Top with the remaining chopped Oreos.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until light golden brown.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool for an additional 5 minutes.

Lower the sugar to 1/2c and up the creamcheese to 6oz. If the original recipe is like a nestle tollhouse cookie, adding a second cup of flour makes them more like a levain thick/tall cookie. Alternatively, make the dough using 1c of roll half the dough into cookies balls, with the remaining dough, add and mix in a 1/2c of flour. Have your friends and family pick the best

Seems like it would be better to put the Oreos in a baggie and crush them. You’ll still get the same results & you can control how you would crush them by whatever you choose to use.
What temperature should you bake them at?
i have to press the balls before bake or it melts ?
