I absolutely love that first die where the flowers are cut out on the outline without a white border!! Not only does it look more natural, but the die can also cut masks, if needed. I've always loved Local King stamps and dies (out of Canada) because she offers two dies for her images - one that cuts right on the line and one that cuts with a little small white border or it can cut a shadow layer. So smart! I don't give my vellum enough love, but so much inspiration here, so thank you!!

If I wanted my die cuts to look like a sticker, I could just buy cheap stickers. Please don't shoot me, it is just my opinion. Hope this will continue. 😊 And thanks for those new gorgeous colors! I love vellum, find it is a great way to add that little something to a card without a lot of color…just good ole texture! Beautiful cards and amazing techniques! I forget who I saw do it, but instead of cutting stamps apart, you can just cover the part you don't want to stamp with a post it note or scrap of paper. Just make sure you take it off before stamping or you'll get a huge splotch of ink

With the window notecard, wonder if you could use 2 pieces vellum adhered together and put shaker bits in between. So you would have shaker element on front and inside first layer of card …

If anyone has a pacemaker check the strength of the magnet …..I was advised to not use the magnets that came with the Misty . I also checked the better press out which is fine but remember that distance from pacemaker to your machine .

If I am bothered by adhesive showing on the opposite side of the vellum, would confetti or small die cuts effectively hide it? Might make for another fun embellishment. It’s traditional for cards to be blank on the backside of the front, but lately I have been wondering why we forego an opportunity to play. As adorable as the mushroom cottages are, I think my favorite card was the vellum window with the peach frame. I liked all the steps that went into that one. I could see it making a delightful Christmas card with a change in the color scheme.
