This video feels very overedited to me. Small pauses that should have stayed got cut out, and there's no room between separate thoughts. It's also hard to follow what's going on in the game when the footage is so fragmented.
I agree... this is basically unwatchable for me. I do understand that a lot of people (especially young people) like this sort of editing though, or at least it grabs their attention. SimpleFlips is pretty much my favorite creator ever, but this editing is too much for me.

@@maximilianklinger2712 i was watching through some old simpleflips videos and saw my own comments complaining about how it breaks the pace to zoom into his face all the time while he's playing. maybe it's gotten less like that over time and i just haven't noticed, but i'm pretty sure some amount of it is just me having gotten used to it.

Yeah I wasn't a fan of the editing in this video. There's a zoom in on a part of the screen every two seconds. It's just so fast paced, there's never a gap between things Simple says. I don't have the zoomer brain that I feel like this video was made for lmao

I'm going to be honest, I can't finish this video. While the video was competently edited, the constant edits and zoom-ins make it nearly impossible to follow without getting a sensory overload. It may be because I'm not a zoomer, but I really can't stand this level of editing as it often makes it difficult to focus on what Simple is doing or talking about. It's a shame because I've watched every other piece of SimpleFlips content, but this is the first where I legitimately feel like I can't finish it and it's solely due to the editing style.

I'm sorry to say but I really dislike Cilletix's editing from what I've seen so far. Nothing against him or simple, but it's so different from the editing Matt and Nolan does which I much prefer. This kind of editing to me feels kinda like sensory overload, and almost stressful in a way. Only a single opinion, not fact, if others like it I won't shame them. Still an amazing video, love the content man keep it up
Yeah I'm inclined to agree, Cilletix's editing differs from Matt and Nolan's style so much that it almost feels like I'm not even watching a SimpleFlips video. I had felt like Cilletix had reined in the sporadic stuff a bit over the past few videos but this one comes in at full force.

The editing style feels claustrophobic to me
Griefing in multiplayer versus cropped up a couple times in Walkies, mainly when Simple couldn't win, I remember one occasion where he pounded the ass of one Mario Brother only to save that brother later on by hammering the shit out of the other one during a race to the goal at the end of a level. Multiplayer truly is touching.

I actually extremely appreciate the comments that dislike the editing and give reasons as to why, as my own editing is somewhat in the same vain as Hark's, so getting info on what is and isn't liked and why, is extremely valuable to me, since with my small channel size, I'd never get that info and criticism, so thank you people who don't like this editing style, I'm happy you exist and care enough to give your thoughts.
The editing was competently done but I wasn't a fan of the style of it. Zooming in on parts of the screen every two seconds, when Simple is talking there's no gap between cuts so it's like a constant stream of words. Dead air where we're just watching Simple play and he isn't talking is okay, it's like the editor was trying desperately not to have it. Like there were times where they cut out a 1 second gap in gameplay just so there would be no gap between sentences Simple said. Like why. Felt jarring compared to the rest of the videos on the channel, so I hope this isn't a new direction. No hate to the editor or anything, it just felt like this video was going a mile a minute and I like the slower paced editing that is usually on the channel.
