I was always in awe of Rahul Gandhi from the time I saw him spending time with the poor and downtrodden. He always seemed so at home with them. When Rahul became actively involved in politics around 1999/2000 and the effort was on to portray him as "pappu" I was aghast that Indians, who were considered as smart & intelligent could not see through the vile ways of thugs like modi-shah and their goons.
