In today’s video, we are going to share with you the easiest way of making Bhaktapur’s famous juju dhau at home.
So on this special day, 15 Ashad, you can enjoy the Juju Dhau with beaten rice.
Juju Dhau
Considered the finest yogurt available in Nepal, juju dhau translates as “king of yogurt” or “king curd” in the Newari language-if you like yogurt at all, this dish is for you. The buffalo milk curd has a sweet taste and a very creamy texture as it’s made in a clay pot that removes excess moisture. It is characterized by its rich flavour and a unique, creamy texture which is thick enough not to drop off when the pot is turned upside down.
