Apparently it’s not black cats but rather gray cats that are the least adopted in the US, at least what I read in an article. But what I heard is that shelters are wary of having their black cats adopted because sometimes they’ll have someone adopt solely for sacrificing the cats in demonic cults. Not too sure if that’s true though…

If anyone gets a pet, PLEASE rescue or go to a shelter like seriously it's so much better and it's easy and if you feel like maybe you can't afford it, it's actually very budget friendly plus the animals have their shots already or at least all of the times I've adopted they did and they were spayed/neutered already too. it might be different at other places though

just a small suggestion:
separate the food and the water-! cats drink a lot more when it’s not so close to their food :) idk why but learnt it from a vet and totally worked with mine-!
Hi! I heard this was because in the wild their food would have been obviously animals they had hunted, and so they wouldn't want the guts and fluids etc. (lovely stuff lol) to go into their water source. So even though in modern days they don't need to worry about food getting into water, I'm guessing it's instinctual so they just still do it. This is what I heard, but my cats legit drink puddle water so I cannot confirm personally tho haha
since cats are generally solo animals in the wild, they’re very careful about contamination because nobody can look after them (unlike dogs). it might have something to do with that but idkk
She's so pretty! A lot of people give black cats a bad rap, but they are actually so sweet! We have a black cat named Smokey, and sometimes she likes her space, but she's a really nice cat. She runs and hides when guests come over though. I think she's an introvert. 😆

your cat reminds me of a cat that i once had :’) he was a black cat as well. my dad rescued him as a kitten from literally the middle of the road. we named him bats because he looked exactly like one but my entire family kept calling him kitten and that became his nickname (even as an adult cat). make sure you take care of your cat and love them unconditionally 💕

you should get biodegradable wood or tofu litter that's flushable to keep things a lil eco-friendly cos bentonite cat litter is non-biodegradable :s the brand i can recommend is cature 😄
