This was such a fun video! Loved seeing the image being captured and the result😊
I just found this exact camera in a closet at work today! These shots came out great 👍🏼 I can’t wait to try it for myself. It’ll be the first time shooting 35mm film. Great video❤️
Have fun and enjoy the process! :)
This is awesome!
Loved this one G!
MinoltaGang! Gotta love the Minolta glass. Everything comes out on point.
I was so impressed with it!
Colors from the film are so juicy!
This is so exciting to watch especially because I just bought another 35mm film camera in Utah for $1.50 and this just inspired to me to go explore with it! 🤗
So fun! Enjoy the process :)
Such a beautiful area and beautiful photos!!
It really was! Already wanting to go back.
I just stumbled across this video looking for Minolta point and shoots. I've got the european version of this camera called 'AF-E II' and I got it at a very similar price over here in Germany. I love shooting with it as it really gives you these late 80s/early 90s look with your photos.
Cool video, keep up the good work and stay healthy! 👍🏼
Totally - you don't need fancy!
Got a freedom 200 at a thrift store yesterday! Its my first camera and im so excited :D
Looove those misty photos ❤️
Me too!! They were a pleasant surprise.
Cool pictures!!:)
I literally just picked up this camera at a thrift store for $4 and was looking for some info on CZcams! Perfect find! :)
Great video, I'm looking forward to getting some film into this camera and trying it out.
yay! enjoy!
such a cool video, i bought a minolta and im exited yo shoot soon!
They are great!!
Beautiful .. You.. You beautiful. Its what first words caught in my mind.
8:11 made me smile
Does the photos come out like that 🔥🔥
I like it.
got one for 5 pounds in a charity shop in London where I live. I shoot on it all the time mainly black and white ilford (red) at night, it's not the greatest thing since sliced bread but i'm making it work for me. Trying mysterious photos. I think about changing camera and getting a 'better' one but think it's pretty nice having those limitations and seeing what you can do with them.
What is the auto flash like? Do you have any problems with it?
@@Finjodb seeing as I shoot at night on black and white, it's not really an issue for me- but can imagine it would be an issue for others- the main concern with this camera is actually without the flash in broad daylight- the focussing is bad. At night at close range for basic shots with the flash it works ok. Not a good camera ultimately- just if you can find one for the same price as a pint of beer- and you don't normally have a go with film-why not- can get some lofi style pics.
@@benjaminhooper6076 what film do you use for it since you shoot at night
😀 I have the same camera, sadly battery door is damaged 😭
I got this camera at the thriftshop for 2€. The Hook, which holds the hatch with the film was broken so i taped it shut. The lens cover can also not be closed. It worked perfectly otherwise. HOWEVER while shooting today - I was at about 15 pictures - the motor started to rewind to 12 pictures. Does anyone know why this was happening or had the same problem with a film camera? It does NOT have a button to rewind. I greatly appreciate any advice.
Can we record videos on that camera ?
wow, in New Zealand film cameras are sooo expensive, $129 for mine. The Minolta freedom Tele 38-80mm
wow that's crazy!!
That was so cute >\\\
i dont know how does camera works how can you even get its digital photos?
how do you transfer the photos from film - digital? we recently found our minolta fs 35 while cleaning and I wanna test it out while cycling
I'm not sure how she did it. But I go to a camera shop that emails you your pictures when they're developed. And they'll hold onto the negatives for up to a month if you want prints.
Where was that abandon place in MI I would love to go there and take pictures just like it and go on a adventure
We were up near Traverse City! The spot I went to we randomly stumbled upon so I don't have the exact address but there are TONS of similar scenes all over that area. Have fun and good luck!! :)
Did you really fall over?😄 joking aside, I suppose you could have achieved better results with some sun above your head but we play with the cards we are dealt, I guess. I just purchased two Minolta af E11 cameras (similar to what you used) for s couple of quid. Hopefully, I can get out in the sun and 'shoot a few rolls'. Many thanks
Are these photos edited or raw??
Where can you even thrift these
Hey, does the camera make a noise while focussing / pressing the button half way? Mine doesn't and I'm confused if that's normal or if my autofocus is broken. I've just bought it and I don't have any experience with point and shoot cameras. :/
It doesn't make noise! This was something that really confused me too but don't worry, you're not missing anything!
@@GenevaBoyett Oh okay, that's reliefing, thank you! :) Sorry, that I'm asking again, but can you recognize something like a movement of the lens while focussing or can this also not be seen from the outside?
@@laceleaf. Nope I wasn't able to see any movement or sound but the photos still turned out great!
@@GenevaBoyett Thank you so much!
What batteries do you need for this camera?
I think AAA but i'm not completely sure!
What battery does this camera use
i think two AAs but please double check me on that

Saw someone selling this for 80€ in europe lol
