The project is a collaboration between the municipal government, the state government, and the Mexicoach trucking company. The objective of the so-called binational route - which departs from the Tijuana Integral Transportation System's (SITT) downtown station - is to facilitate the movement of people and reduce the number of vehicles that cross the border daily.
