  • This recording was made in late 1971 in an eight-track studio while the newly-formed Eagles (briefly calling themselves "Teen King and The Emergencies") were getting their first exposure as a band in Aspen, Colorado, following a brief tour as the nameless backing group for Linda Ronstadt.
    Randall Herman Meisner, born 03/08/1946 in Scottsbluff, NE - died 07/26/2023 in Los Angeles, CA, Bernard Matthew Leadon III, born 07/19/1947 in Minneapolis, MN, Donald Hugh Henley, born 07/22/1947 in Gilmer, TX and Glenn Lewis Frey (birth name Glenn Lewis Cedar), born 11/06/1948 in Detroit, MI - died 01/18/2016 in New York, NY had been signed by David Geffen to Asylum Records, but had yet to meet the iconic British producer who would turn them to gold, Glyn Johns.
    The original recording has been remastered, restored and corrected for pitch.
