This car was truely something else. My mom got a 2010 SS and had it super early and would just turn heads everywhere she went. Inferno orange manual 2ss. Miss this thing
man I gotta tell you, I drove the Mustang GT this week and I also tested the Camaro SS. In my honest opinion, the Camaro is a better car in so many ways... Not to mention the 1LE and it's track capabilities. Great job Chevy!

Right I have a 15 1le SS/RS with red leather love the car to death. Have added so many upgrades. Stock power tho.
@@mikewozawski1634 Ive only added 3.91 gears, CAI, exhaust and headers. Spring Edition didn’t come as a 1LE so I got it as close as possible. She has 51k miles.
I bet if the taillight bezels were a matching black like the rear splitter, rear spoiler & the hood, this amazing looking Camaro would look even better. The chrome looks a little out of place in my opinion. At least it's an easily fixable mod that seems to be popular with other SS owners. Awesome 1LE!! I love these videos! :)

Just did a fog light deletes on my 2013 Ss dusk edition to feed the cold air. If you need a set of dusk rims let me know!

Your sadly mistaken. This car has a 0-60 time of 4.2 seconds and the challenger 392 is 4.4 seconds to 60. This car is about 3500 pounds where as the challenger is 4200 pounds. Alot lighter. Think before you speak.
That rear end seems to be planted in the tight turns, awesome track car. Gotta have it

I could be wrong, but this is not what I have heard. It was supposed to be 6-speed only with tighter gearing in 1st through 4th (which is why its slightly faster to 60, and in the quarter mile than the regular SS).
If you wear skullcandy ink'd earphones, its like an eargasm to your ears. Ufff love the sound of that 'Cam... cant wait till a get one. Nice Review... best one yet!

i always like winding road test drives..nice video with good resolution and clarity..one thing i wanna tel everybody tat, do not drive any vehicle like this for everyday driving..like sudden acceleration,using the gearbox to extract maximum out of it..fuel consumption ll be higher and reduced life of the car..bt in this type of video it is acceptable as he is demonstrating the character of the car.
Cant wait to get this car in a couple years. I cant wait to see what new modiications they will give this 1le within the next couple years

Me and a friend rented a yellow Camaro SS for five days in our trip to Miami and was fun, although I found the seat very low and its quite dark inside with the small windows.That could be an issue when you drive at night, when its raining and freeways are not friendly with lots of trucks almost running over you.We are from Brazil and this car costs at least 100k here. We end up looking like the Dumb&Dumber partners as we shop to death in the outlets, like we've found a case full of cash...

My dream car right here. 2013 model is the sweet spot for me since it’s got my favorite design, but also has the infotainment system with a backup camera(since it’s pretty hard to back up without one especially in a crowded parking lot). Yeah it might be pretty slow compared to the newer Camaros, but me personally I don’t necessarily care about fast it is, I just want that beautiful v8 sound with my personal favorite design of the 2010+ models. But I gotta admit, the 6th gen interior is far nicer than the 5th gens :/

Love the muscular external, but don't like the dash. I get the 'retro' nod but that whole 3 piece thing could be one housing, cleaner. Great car, love it.

Let's just say I'm going to kill it.
His is all stock it's 1LE 450 HP and the only way you could ever beat that if yours is stock you would need help to push it across the start line,or if you have really gone all out and rebuilt it because that car was one of the smallest of the line.

the 1LE wt is about 200lbs LESS than ZL1, and for those that do SCCA it is in the NA class, unlike the ZL1. 2014 model is even more desireable, and if you are a serious track freak...size up the z/28..500hp/500tq on a 427ci NA engine.

The video is good, but I'd give a suggestion for future videos, and is to turn on the lights of the vehicle so they can better see the references of the board, speed and engine revolution, among others.

Who the hell reads the manual? Just messing with ya. I have a 2013 SS from Febuary. I love it. First day I had it I kept my foot in it. I currently have 1811 miles on it. It's an experience driving it, let alone owning it.
Even if all the money goes to performance you could still make it look better than a toy car. But the on the outside it looks really nice!

FYI Its actually called an SS 1LE, so don't tell me to do research. It just happens to come with a lot of upgrades (suspension, wheels, transmission gearing, paint scheme) for the money.
I noticed that the 2013 SS & SS 1LE with the HUD doesn't have a G-Meter like the 2005+ Corvette does. I wonder why, especially with the 1LE pkg?
No that's just the redline set by the factory...probably because of its stroke, and lack of forged internals.
To rev higher you generally want a shorter stroke, and beefier internals. Luckily the LS3 makes good power and torque without needing to rev high.
is this with dual mode? my 1LE doesn't down that aggressive!

Agree if your asking about gas mileage than you shouldn't be spending thousands on upgrades. Adding horse power is expensive and could be endless. Car sounds sick by the way nice job. I'm putting my money towards a supercharger :)
