- In today's Thailand travel vlog, we're exploring Bangkok's very own Chatuchak Weekend Market with a fun challenge; to see how much we can buy with only 500 baht ($14.50)!
We start the day at the world's largest outdoor market by sampling delicious street food, but we quickly find ourselves lost among clothing, crafts, housewares, and more.
If you're wondering if you should brave the heat and visit the Chatuchak Weekend Market, the answer is yes! We recommend arriving early and planning to spend at least half a day wandering the aisles.

The weather in Thailand during April 18-24 will be the hottest. Temperatures between 37-45 degrees should drink plenty of water and avoid going out in the sun from noon to 3pm.
We’re still in Chiang Mai and it is crazy how hot it is! We’re headed to the beaches tomorrow. 😅

5 hrs of walking in a hot place. Lots of cals incinerated😅. Chatuchak is also the world's largest sweat all you can spa. 🥵🥵 And that's why it's good to buffet it all out. 😋😋😋

The weather is very hot. I recommend any brand of cooling powder (Snake brand cooling powder or prickly heat to reduce itching and rashes due to allergies to sweat and dust) apply thinly on the front and back of the body (it will cool when sweating) or cold towels and tissues. cold wet Apply to arms and neck. Do not use on the face
- If it's about the stomach from eating food. White water elemental medicine, flying rabbit brand, small bottle attached to the bag (price 20 baht, can be purchased from general pharmacies or streets)

I can assure you after living in Thailand for a while. You can't go without chili, fish sauce, coconut sugar and Thai condiments . When you go back to your hometown or other countries, you will definitely want to come back to Thailand again especially when there are festivals in Thailand such as Songkran Day or Loi Krathong Day as well as various tourist attractions and Thai people. Have fun and safe travels.

Chuttujak is the paradise of shopping market. Or even window shopping also makes you feel fun and happy. It seemed you both can tolerate to high spiciness of foods. This proved you can live in Thailand like a Thai. 👏👏🇹🇭🇹🇭🙏🙏
Chatuchak is an awesome place to get lost for the afternoon. And yes, we love spicy food, especially spicy Thai food! 😋
I am Thai but I have never been there over 10 years as it is very hot and the stuff is not cheap compare to local market. However I understand the tourist must to go there 😅😅
Haha, oh no! Where is the best market to go? We just HAD to see this market because of how large it is! It was quite impressive, but VERY hot 🥵
@Mike and Ashley Time to walk and shopping at Chatuchuk : you should go to shopping about 4-5 pm. Evening to night not too hot.
@@mikeandashley Don't be disappoint, It still the best market for thai people too. Clothing maybe a bit expensive compare to some market but they have unique style 😊.
It also a great market when we want to find home decoration stuff too.
That sounds like a good recommendation, we just wanted to make sure we could see all of it! So we went earlier in the morning. It was definitely more popular in the evening!

Oh, that sounds really nice! We were living in the area and rode the MRT. There are two stops that take you right to the market. We loved it. So much to see! 😊

& please not over 19:00, they will close shop.

As I said it's hot season, when you eat Thai food, pls think about "coconut milk" in your food or not.
Example Thai green curry had it inside.
If there's some sour feel, pls escape from your food.
It depends on time when they cooked.

I'm so sure that you had a hidden shopping agenda beyond your limit budget challenge there. Me too.
Note: Pad Thai must add up with lemon. Thai food is combination of salty, sweet, sour, bitter, spicy and aroma that can adjust what you love yourself.
I don't like any Superego Fancy fine dining restaurant at all. I trust my taste bud.

Oh we could have spent so much more, we were just trying to see if we could both purchase an item and some food for around 500 baht, and we did! We could have maybe gotten more if we shopped around a bit more, but we really enjoyed our purchases. I’m wearing my Bangkok shirt right now!
