Listening to this when I was 15, I thought this was just simply a feel good song. But now at 22, being able to learn about the power of manifesting, the lyrics hit differently now. Jason is obviously manifesting all the things that he want to achieve or possess. Instead of saying "I will be there", he says, "I am finally there", already claiming what is soon will be happening to him.

I love Jason Mraz's songs, his music is so incredibly diverse. you've got songs like I'm yours and lucky that are nice and slow and soft, geek in the pink thats got that cool rock groove in it and then this! all so different but he manages to pull them off. not to many artists can do that!

This song sounds even better than I remembered, I don't think I've heard it in 13 years now. Back then, it was a total standout to me compared to most of the album. Honestly I'm a little glad this one didn't become a Top 40 hit, otherwise it would've been played into the ground and we'd all be sick of it. It's a lot more special this way.
