An error on my part as i forgot to write in the staff credits. I would like to plug and credit ClownPrinceofCrime personally who not only voiced Jacobs, but was the head writer for the entire script. I think it would be great if you all took a look at their channel, which goes into more detail about their character Jacobs. in the series Jacobs Journal.

The hardest part was making 343 animate mostly; because the model is pretty broken, bone parts, clothes and what not tend to break and glitch out. Then the lip synching wouldn't work half the time. So every one of 343's voice lines had to be saved separately.
I was going to animate the trees and grass swaying but didnt bother in the end, because the viewers attention would be focused on 343, Watch, Jacobs or the subtitles.
Normally its one character animated per scene. Or 2 characters animated in a scene.
This time its 3 characters in shot at all times, so they all have to be animated at all times.
Having rendered the animation per question, which takes anywhere from 1 - 2hrs. I then add the 1st overlay. Which is the censored faces. Both for Watch & Jacobs. Once that is rendered, a second overlay is then added which is the camera tv effect. The third overlay is the subtitles and watermarks.
These can take anywhere up to 6 - 7 hrs to edit and render.
There are 5 maps used in the video.
The scene where Watch and Jacobs go back to reality, is a completely different map, so I had to try and recreate the same camera setup and visualise where Watch & 343 would be from the previous map.
Sound effects, ambience and music, are then added to the videos, which would be reverb, or filtered, or amplified.

Hmm, seems to me like God forgot about the many SCPs that are literally just objects that happen to act weird. That is, unless he's implying something animistic in the assessment that _all_ things, objects included, are alive.
hmm some religious interpretations attest that not only people and animals, but inanimate objects can have bits of soul too, so maybe that...
Knowing SCP, it wouldn't surprise me.
Animism
You know, watching 035 and 343......You kind of realize they're doing the exact same things on the opposite sides of the spectrum. Manipulation as a means to an end, but with different ways of pulling the listener to their perspective. Gotta admit, 035 is smarter; it's a lot better to have a believable lie than a condescending truth.
This is a really excellent point, yeah. While I was watching this, I often thought things like "Yeah 343 is obviously lying about being God". But with the stuff 035 says, while it is very out there, rarely does it seem... actually wrong? If that makes sense.
@@dudenguy6385 Watch interacts very differently too. Even if 035 is an asshole at points, the conversation is more friendly in general. With 343, it's ALL animosity because Watch suspects he isn't God and is making excuses why he doesn't stop larger threats. Even if he's insanely more powerful than 035, he's pushing 343's buttons like a kid on a sugar rush at an Arcade.
Actually, something I noticed at the beginning of the video. Watch was calling out the doc for "not proving that he wants to change" despite him actually wanting to deep down. And at the end of the video 343 tests Watch after "killing" the doc for standing up for him and proving himself. And when Watch brought the doc back, 343 said "wise choice."
It would make sense that 035 would be more convincing then God because it’s supposed to manipulate you, it’s very good at it and will tell you thinks you want to hear, the devil attracts for a reason
You can take a few things away from this Sedition about SCP-343
Watch does indeed have the gift of interviewing like doc says.
Watch manages to grill 343 about his inconsistencies and illogical rules so effectively, it regularly gets an emotional rise out of 343, easily. Something that *should* absolutely be unthinkable to an omnicient being whos existed since the beginning of time.
At the end Watch comments "cant believe he actually fell for that" exposing that Watch basically did a hail mary to save Doc, not fully expecting it to work.
But it did, and in doing so exposes A LOT about 343.
343 did not scatter doc across time and space into trillions of pieces, 343 is full of #$!@.
Watch playing 343 the way he did at the end exposes this supposed celestial being tied to reality is - while an immensely powerful entity - a charlatan.
Like Doc suspected, 343 is likely an entity merely pretending to be god, and his way of speaking, inactions, convenient excuses and straight up admission that he would only take direct action if his control of this realm was threatened.
Exposing his narcissism and self righteousness, as Watch points out when he says 'so you only care if it effects you personally
Theres other points i forgot to mention, but the most memorable point in this sedition to me was Doc saying to 343 that He could never immitate the true power and capabilities of god, or many of the gods humanity worships.
And that severely got to SCP-343, because 343 knows it's completely true.
Ik this dosen't add much to this comment. But once i saw 343 being offended by the words from Doc & Watch. It showed me that he rlly wasn't a god. Bcs if those statements from Watch or The Doc were false. Then 343 wouldn't be offended by them. He only got offended bcs it is the truth, but he likely is in denial from it wich rlly made this vid so good for me
I actually disagree with this, i dont think SCP 343 really started taking offense until the watch acted like he had some moral superiority. I think "God" was more, disgusted rather than insulted, which of course, is all through perception.
God doesnt say he has a moral high ground, hes saying that the fact that Jacob OR Watch can say anything on terms of morals or greater good, their actions or what actions they continue to do, kind of invalidates them from accusing him of doing anything because they have no right to judge. They, and the foundation, directly do terrible things. This ties in with the first episode and kinda continues with this one, explaining how all of humanities falters are nothing humanities fault and its unfair to use HIM as a scapegoat.
Or more of, maybe hes disgusted on the fact they think they be on the good side of the line in the first place, it shows THEIR ignorance and narcissism, to believe they would fall on that line "better than some".
Not just that, but Jacob provoking 343 showed that he was a fraud.
343 said he wouldn't help 239 because he would interfer with 'free will' was shown to be nonsense when he was willing to use his power on Jacob after being questioned of his power.
343 only uses his power when it benefits him. Helping 239 wouldn’t benefit him. But smiting Jacob made him feel that sense of sweet revenge after being insulted.
He either didn't have the power or the will.
I’d like to think 343 is actually a fragment of god that fell to earth and developed humanistic tendencies on the way down
Sorry to join the conversation so late to the party... but perhaps everyone is too sure of themselves with 343. People are claiming he was emotionally manipulated by Jacobs and Watch, that he didn't actually split Jacobs into a trillion pieces etc as evidence.
But hear me out a second... Watch and Jacobs are in a new stage, almost like a new beginning of their relationship. Watch is now going to have some responsibility and power.
What if it was all a deliberate double bluff by 343? To influence things that way.
Consider how he spoke to Watch at the end. Completely fatherly and without the flaws we had witnessed.
Indeed, consider 343 could have easily utilised a better trick on Jacobs if it wanted to, yet utilised a relatively cheap one of "teleport to the north poll", because it knew they'd interpret the whole thing as a charade.

This was definitely worth the two year or so wait. The questions covered and the answers given, the sudden dark turn near the end, and the reveal of a portion of Watch’s past was absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to see what SCP gets covered next!

I dont know if the wait was worth it... but I would waited longer too until the end of time. Last I remember Tat was asking us for suggestions for the little girl,...I suggested feeding her the "fatherly soup" and asking her how it tasted.

As a theological scholar, I loved the last interview with 343, have watched it over and over again. Whoever wrote the script must have some expertise in theology, as 343 brings many interesting ideas to complex theological questions. Great work!

Again I state that 343 isn't God but rather a Chat Bot that God made to interact with humans. Perhaps it held some resemblance of the original but that's all it is semblance of the Original. It couldn't kill Jacob but just teleported him somewhere inhospitable. The sad thing is I don't even think he knows that he's a chat bot.

What I love about the SCP 343 videos is that you come out of it still wondering if he's actually "God" or not. First SCP 035 won't even talk about what happened and you're thinking "huh maybe he's the real deal?" and then Jacobs is all like "Oh what was that thing my sensor picked up?" and you're like "Wait what?" I just love that we never get a straight answer.

One thing I love about "There is no Canon" is that we never know if 343 is a real god or a fraud, so theres always tension for that answer when he is involved.
He most likely is an actual god.
And 035 had everything to be an fraud, no power, not a person to look up too, all that type of stuff.

I think this moment is secretly the reason for 343's...moment at the end, to have him prove to Watch that he does care.
At the end of the video they mentioned potentially questioning SCP-343 again.
If that's a future video then I have an early question I want to ask.
"Do you believe there is such a thing as a truly selfless act?"
When growing up a teacher asked a question along those lines, at the time I disputed it. But I've grown to accept that every action, no matter how selfless, has at least a hint of selfishness or selfish interests hidden beneath it.

Despite a 2 year difference between this tape and the last, it shows how much and how many came to listen 343 finally breakdown, all knowing and calm god finally snapping and actually taking action and more character development from two no faces

He sounded livid when Lilith was brought up. I always thought the Serpent was Lilith instead of Lucifer. Maybe it was Lilith who made Adam and Eve eat the apple. Hence "The Betrayer" title.
Actually in scp 4840, seth says that it wasn't an apple. It wasn't a fruit. It was a something cosmic. Research his 3 or 4 videos to find out.

Hey Tats, can I suggest an SCP for a sedition. It's called ''SCP-2006'' (SCP-2006 is an anomalous spherical entity that's sole goal is to cause feelings of fear and/or horror in as many humans as possible. To accomplish this purpose, SCP-2006 possesses the ability to change its shape, mass, volume, density, chemical structure, and voice to any form that it desires). The SCP itself has a poor understanding of what human's fear and the foundation exploits this by giving him campy 80s horror movies to watch. The interview (if you call it that) was really short in the document (it was only one question), I hope you take this concept and build some backstory for this SCP and its origins. If of course you choose to, no pressure. Love your videos keep it up.😀

I love this part much more than the first. Really. This part flows so smooooothly compared to the first one. God (343) is more openminded here, it is generally communicative, the answers are not this evasive like it feels on the first Tape- (so it seems to me, tell me if I am wrong). The lore in generell is very good tied to the world around. And I love how you put the discussion about many SCPs there.
Also I love the really high tension Watch has been suffering throught the interview and how Jacobs react to Watch at all times. But as this escalated, DAMN....
Once again, it is the *BEST* sedition here, it outshadowed SCP-049 totally and I wonder if you can do even better than this. 50/10

that talk about scp 1795 and the universe itself really made me think; i love it. on another note it's only been 17 minutes and i am just enthralled! by all this dialogue it makes me feel creative and intrigued. what a video and great job, now that this is over i don't know what will happen or come next since there are changes now, but that was a good note to end on things.

I've been a fan of this SCP series for so many years now. The interviews and extra content really enhance the long-form videos. It makes it seem like Tats has a separate SCP universe going on. I always liked the idea of Watch being a recurring character for that reason, and the original 343 video was one of my favorite interviews when it came out like... 7 years ago. To see these two come together is a crossover I never knew I needed. Your SCP content is always the best, keep it up!

This was the most chaotic and interesting tape I’ve watched so far. I’ve been working on an art project this entire day with this playing in Split View, almost 10 hours of work, and I’ve been binging this series. I love this so much, the cross between character development and just normal interviews, the throwbacks to previous videos like the 035 thing in the first 343 tape, this was a literal masterpiece. Been persuading my friends to watch these tapes since I wanna get them into SCP. Literally love this series so much. Keep up the good work man ❤

This video was amazing, it tied up a lot of loose ends and opened up new ones for interpretation, the classic SCP article vibe, never knowing what would happen next. The latter part was incredible, anyone reading this who hasn't watched it yet, I won't spoil the whole story to you, for that is something your free will does.
The voice acting is always top notch in your videos, Tats, but DAMN! dont know who writes the script for this, but whoever did it, deserves a medal. By far the best storytelling you've ever done in your scp videos. Love you and your team ❤
